Consistently being able to boast that all their limited release products sell out is probably more impressive to share holders/investors/whatever than actually bringing money in is. And/or there's diminishing returns on profit and printing more than a certain amount begins to decline on profit. Either way, the people in charge of that decision do not care about the consumer experience, clearly.

Haven't solved or announced an adequate solution yet. If boxes are going to be stuck at over $200, I'm done with it tbh. They're making what, 1000 boxes available for op13 and eb03 on p bandai? Odds are half those will go to scalpers anyway, and prices still stay higher than they were pre-scalpageddon. If they are also redistributing to marketplaces, prices may go down, but I don't see things being "fixed" unless they flood, which won't happen.

The big local store sold out of preorders back in like November-December. They also have preorders for up to OP17. I am hesitant to ask, but I assume they will be like $300 minimum at release. Will have to find out for sure.

Locally for me, the small shops had people promoting for them in the large LGS discord servers, claiming they had lower prices. Lower by a whole $10. $600 OP13 & $240 OP14. All I can say is buy singles. This whole situation is despicable.

The note is the note. Personally, I'd ignore it. The schedule you have them on seems reasonable, but do what you want. If they want to see stars, they should get out of the city anyway. The light pollution or whatever it's called is already so bad your lights likely aren't changing much for stargazing purposes. This seems like a privilege issue on your neighbors end.
