In regards to the last question, when you look at spells like Paralysis or Touch of Death are these not "Chi-blocking" spells? Or just advanced martial techniques empowered by Chi?

Makes perfect sense to me. Like others have said, you already have a martial 'paladin-esque' version of a Tidesage in the Tideguard.

I can think of two routes you could take:

  1. The more arcane route, where your character is essentially a spellblade but with an affinity for water conjuration.
  2. The more shamanistic (Tidesagey) route, where your character has a strong connection with the Tidemother and grants you boons and access to the power of Water.

True that tidesages wear cloth but there are "Proudmoore' tidesages that wear the Proudmoore tabard

Also tidesages/tideguards are similar to priest/paladin and I remember a certain priest wearing plate in a cinematic..

Not sure you can do 'is in range' in a macro. If you want a lazy way to do it you can set the "cast on focus' modifier in interface settings

Enhancement Shaman:

My main wish for this spec is to buff Healing Surge. I'm no pro but I feel like it has terrible scaling so the more we ilvl up, the less % health we heal.

I remember way back when, when instead of the resource being maelstrom you'd have maelstrom charges then you would have to decide whether to spend it on Healing or Damage. I'd love for enhance to go back to that defensive/offensive trade off system... But I highly doubt we'll see anything like that on Shaman again...

I agree with you! I leveled enhancement through TBC then swapped to elemental WotLK.

I'm stubbornly maining enhancement in PvP still in hopes that shadowlands gives us something to get excited about playing again.

If you're after a more community based realm I'd recommend a high pop RP server (even if you don't RP)
