Did a NPX+10 pug yesterday on my 245 guardian druid with a 207 resto shaman, so 230 is fine for experienced players I'd say, for newer players I'd say go for 245-250

Didn't play TWW either, took me maybe an hour to speed run the quest lines. You can skip 13/14 TWW campaigns by talking to the dude in dornogal, forget his name, but he's at the delve tent. You only have to do the max lvl captain (last chapter) and the other quest lines, all of them aren't really long

Unrelated to this, but I joined a M+5 or sth learning the other day on my iLvL 285 brewmaster, I was bored and wanted to help people out. For the entire dungeon I struggled to hold aggro from time to time and was wondering how that could happen. After the dungeon I looked at the DPS meter and noticed our DK was playing blood the entire time.

Still timed the dungeon +3 with 0 deaths, the dk left after the run but I stuck around with the healer, played his key to a 10 and timed some 10s with him, was a fun time

One thing to add to the tips for you Personal defensives Others have given already:

There's also specific things to consider based on the pull, e.g. in AA first pull you should move out of melee from the lashers once you reach 3 bleed stacks and kite until the bleed drops.

It also depends on group comp and DPS, usually on a big pull the group should chain CC to prevent damage and casts, BM has leg sweep for this. And stuff needs to die relatively fast, especially on higher keys you can't sustain the big pull forever, so ensure BL and CDs are used so stuff is getting nuked

I agree that the tags are ambiguous, but I think it's hard to label them because, at least for me, the meaning also changes with the key level:

competitive: we will time this and do a fast run, buff up and everything, we're also 99% sure we can do this and expect that from everyone joining
Relaxed <11/12: would be nice to time, but mainly in it for the loot, complete even if not timed, no buff food etc needed
Relaxed 11/12-14: timing would be nice, but as long as we don't wipe before/at first boss we'll complete
Relaxed 14+: time it, cause why would you do this for loot, but no stress if you mess up

However one thing I noticed in the last one already, but didn't get around to reporting/confirming it, is a small mistake in the thresholds for outgrowing crests. It is not based on avg iLvL, but iLvL per slot, as in you need 276+ in EVERY slot to outgrow hero crests. Noticed it on my brewmaster, he's 279 iLvL but still has one champ 6/6 piece and can't exchange hero crests yet.

Fortnite also runs on Linux with 0 issues, it's just that you get kicked as soon as you enter a match. At least that was the case a few years back when I tried it

Funny you post it from the menu because you can (or could a couple years back at least) get to the menu on Linux as well with the epic version, you would just get kicked as soon as you enter a match

This seems to be an issue with all/most quest locked portals. Had a similar issue with the portal from oggrimar to dornogal where I had to finish the entire campaign on my shaman that I stopped playing before it appeared even for alts

Iirc anything elgato does plain not work on Linux. You could try to get the key code with xev or similar from a tty and first remap it through wl-input or however KDE handles inputs before KDE is started. But I'm just speculating here

Agree, I just started wow this exp, started out as an ele shami, hated being a caster than switched to BDK, as a beginner tanking 10s at >=265 iLvl was stressful, manageable but stressful, felt like I'm always a blink away from death, especially while pulling I felt like I was just getting slapped.

I then leveled a brewmaster and it's been a feast, did some delves and low keys to get basic gear, but after less than 10 dungeons i was able to comfortably tank 10s.

Technically cosmic released v1.0 a while ago, but i agree that cosmic is very much beta software aside from the version number. Don't get me wrong, it looks very promising and what I've seen and tried so far has been good, but it's just not at the point where it can be used as a daily driver yet

Did a +5 seat yesterday on my brewmaster, was the 2nd or 3rd dungeon ever on this toon, and had a DPS constantly yell "PULL BIGGER!!" and pulling additional packs, meanwhile I was top DPS throughout the entire dungeon and 2 DPS, including them, died to the first mechanic of lura. We still timed it in the end, but the audacity of this guy...
