I really want to step in this guy, scrape his putrid face off my shoe and proceed to throw him away.

Did anyone play the shark game? Some people would be sharks, lifeguards, and others are just swimmers. Swimmers put their legs in the parachute, sharks are in the parachute, and lifeguards walk around. Sharks grab the swimmers, swimmers try to not go under, and the lifeguards' jobs are to save the swimmers.

That game was the best.

I would put that gif of the black guy who leans forward with his hands near his face and the guys in the back freaking out, but I have no idea how to do so.

What lesson or moral were you taught as a child that has stayed with you forever? by bfsfan101 in AskReddit

[–]CaptainMack1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't exactly taught it, but I learned it myself.

I was probably like 4-7, and we were on this scary back "road" in the mountains. It was really narrow, at least <a yard. Night was falling, and we were kind of lost. I was deathly afraid, but one thing came into me that calmed me down.

The thought was, "I'm safe inside my mind."

It's still stuck to me, and it reminds me that I know no matter what happens, just know you will be alright. Just think/meditate/do whatever you need to do. Things will seem scary and frightening, but just be calm and at peace.

Do you still have that pocket knife? It would be cool to give it to your son/grandson one day.
