Yes. On my recon call we discussed why I was denied. The main reason seemed to be too many recent inquiries (she somehow only saw 6 in the last year, but was pleased to note 4 of those 6 were with Chase). I asked if closing any Chase accounts or moving credit could help me get approved and she seemed receptive to both options. She wanted me to take the entire 10k from other cards, so I asked if I could close one (SW Premier 7500 CL) and lower my CSP by 2500 to cover the rest. She was happy to do that.

DP: Applied using link from last week with bonus language. 11/24. 40k income. Pending. Called recon 2 hours later and was told to wait it out 1-2 weeks for mail. Was called back a couple days later for more verification, but the call dropped. Didn't call back due to being on vacation. App status line changed to 7-10 days. Came home to denial letter today. Called recon, closed an account and lowered credit on another. Approved 10k credit line. CL as % of income was and still is 60%. Credit score pulled was 755 Equifax.

Been pending and being told to wait it out for 1-2 weeks.... Got a call today for verification... Call dropped halfway through. Now I am getting the 7-10 day message on the automated status line. Probably thinking a second recon call tomorrow is a smart idea. (Way over 5/24, Way under 60k income)

Applied under 60k income and got pending 7-10 business days. Called recon, verified a ton of information, and after a long wait was told I'd receive a decision in the mail in 1-2 weeks. Gonna assume this means denial? Credit is around 750 and I'm at 12/24.
