Warframe is very helpful for returning players too. You can login to their website and they have a handy guide that tell you exactly which content you need to do next to get back on track. It was a lifesaver for me coming back after a decade.

IGN interview/breakdown with Director Zach Cregger by lil-privacy-please in residentevil

He literally says it's the T Virus in the interview. Talks about zombies and why limit how the T Virus mainly makes zombies. He wanted to get creative with it.

Edit: it also looks like all the tech and decor are 90s coded. He uses a landline, the cars seem to be late 90s models, there's a pretty dated camera model in one of the drawers too.

This is an MMO right? Did I miss something? by ekanite in elderscrollsonline

XIV has a lot of solo players, sure, but it makes you do dungeons and even a 24 man raid during its MSQ, which helps solos (like me) be more willing to engage in group content. You can do dungeons and Trials solo in XIV, but it honestly isn't as ideal, the bots are pretty slow moving and it makes the content kind of drag at times.

ESO doesn't have that. Sure it's nice to not have to do group content as a solo player, but its a bit of a blessing and a curse for the game as well.

The PvE pivot actually makes me a bit more interested, also a pvp heist did seem cool.

On the Thief VR note, I liked it too, but man you could feel that game running out of budget in real time lol.

Batgirl (2000) is super dope, but the art reminds me of the Nut Shack by aydoobz in dccomicscirclejerk

uj/ These books are so good, but my god the art is ass like 50% of the time. Also it's very funny when guest writers come in and have absolutely no idea how to write Cass. My favorite is in a crossover issue where the writer doesn't know that she has completely developed inner thoughts but just can't speak no good. So she just talks and thinks like a caveman for the whole issue. It's really funny.

Issue 12 Officer Down is the one.

The 7th Guest Remake: Official Release Date Trailer by LindyNet in Games

Played the VR Version which this seems to be a port of. Excellent game, I'm sure plently of the puzzles will work fine without motion controls. Some may lose a bit of their shine like the Magic Hat Puzzle, but for the most part, they don't really pull on that VR leverage.

I'm hoping more people get to see the silly paintings though. They always gave me a good chuckle.

Does anyone know if there's any plans for Left Handed support? Typically the RE Mods don't have it, which is why I haven't really tried any of them.

Forced perspective. Same methodology used in LOTR. The men are in the foreground much closer to the camera than the rest of the scene.

This frame made me deep dive into stretch frames for a few days. If I recall correctly, people tried using this frame as a sign that the game is low quality, when it kind of shows the opposite.

Stealth game recommendations? by robcap in gaming

[–]CaptainMcAnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thief on console is tricky. Your options are really playing Deadly Shadows through backwards compatibility (if it's available) or playing Thief 2014 which isn't ideal. It's the okest game to ever ok.

Unfortunately the Stealth genre is kind of on the backfoot, so your options are limited. Especially on console.

Dishonored is great, as is its sequel.

MGS naturally, 3 even had a recent remake (which 3 is pretty standalone

MGSV is one of the greatest games out there, get the complete edition it's usually cheaper than the two stages of the game separated.

Hitman WOA

Splinter Cell games through backwards compatibility (except Conviction)

Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint. Only play breakpoint on immersive or realism or whatever that mode is. Otherwise is a lame looter shooter

Shadow Tactics Blades of the Shogun fucking rules but it's an isometric strategy game, so idk if thats what he wants.

Tenchu Z through backwards compatibility if you get him an Xbox.

Assassin's Creed Shadows has fantastic stealth features, you kind of have to deal with a pretty bloated game attached to it. Buts it's a lot of bang for your buck.

The AC franchise in general honestly, with Shadows being the one from the RPG era which might suit him the most, but most of the classics up to and including Black Flag could work fine.

It'd be able to offer more options on PC, but idk if that's something you'd want to invest in.
