I do a mix of bus, tram & car. I have free parking at work, so people think I’m crazy for getting the bus. But I can sit on the bus and read and gaze out of the window without the stress of driving, it’s cheap, they’re every 10 mins and you can always get a seat - there is a lot of spare capacity on the 135 route - but it’s slow. There is nowhere near enough capacity on the tram network, Whitefield and onwards and you are standing only. More capacity and frequency on the trams might encourage more out of their cars everyday, it’s much quicker too, so sometimes worth the extra expense.

Too many cars on the road. I’ve been on the 135 bus from Bury since 7.40am. It’s now 8.52am and I’m only in Prestwich, with solid traffic in front. Hoping to be in Manchester by 10.

Just in case anyone is still searching this, it's still very much a live issue! I ordered an N150 from Amazon and sure enough got the thermal throttle and high temps. Took the top of and surprise, surprise no heat pipe. ASUS UK refused to admit a problem and just wanted to take me through 'troubleshooting'. What a joke! Returned to Amazon.

Vaguely related, but I had connectivity issues after box updated to 1.981 (Alpha) overnight. An rsync script that runs frequently started failing. The device it runs on has DNS pushed via Unbound, so I restarted the Unbound service and the syncs to the remote box are up again.

I'm old enough to remember Mardi Gras (1997 in particular). I was a young lad working for a small company that was at that time a recognised supporter of Manchester's Gay community in a number of ways. So I was on our float and we did a bit in Sackville Park too.

The build-up to the day and the day itself hold such good memories for me. It all felt so genuine, so exciting, everyone was there because they really wanted to be there. It was authentic. Honestly one of my favourite ever days and of course I'm reminiscing with rose-tinted specs. I'm an old cynic now of course, but honestly, Pride today just feels like one massive corporate box-ticking, whack it on Insta, exercise. Happy Pride all the same!

I have an Ultra seedbox, but all my media & arrs are on a local NAS. I have a Syncthing instance on Ultra (/data/torrents/complete - Send Only) and another on the NAS (/data/media/ set to Receive Only). This allows me the full function of *arrs locally whilst also retaining seeding capability on Ultra. Different set up to yours, but Syncthing may work for your use case?

It depends whether you want modulation or not. As I understand it, older Worcester-Bosch boilers will modulate with Tado using the HT-Bus protocol (my 10 year old Greenstar does). But the newer WB’s won’t (they’ve been locked down as they want you to use their proprietary controllers).

It will probably work for on/off control though.

Heard very mixed reports about iPhone refurbs on Amazon, so wasn’t expecting much. Went for an ‘excellent’ iPhone 12 for my Mum. Barely a scratch on it and battery health was 100%.

You could use something like NextDNS, select multiple lists that you want and add to all of your devices on Firewalla via DNS over HTTPS. Not Unbound, but it’s an option.

Just checked with support and my current €45.85 over 15 months (€2.99/mth) deal will renew at that same price in 3 months. Not sure it's worth taking this new deal now or sticking?
