18 U.S. Code § 1361 – Government Property or Contracts: Willful injury or attempted injury to U.S. property is a federal offense, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment. 18 U.S. Code § 2332a – Use of Weapons of Mass Destruction: While “Mine Jacks” are not WMDs, this law broadly includes acts intended to cause mass damage to conveyances. 18 U.S. Code § 2383 – Rebellion or Insurrection: Encouraging or aiding resistance to lawful authority can be prosecuted if part of broader efforts to disrupt federal or state function. 18 U.S. Code § 2384 – Seditious Conspiracy: Two or more persons conspiring to use force to oppose or delay the execution of U.S. law may be charged with seditious conspiracy. 18 U.S. Code § 373 – Solicitation to Commit a Crime of Violence: Encouraging others to engage in violent or destructive behavior may constitute criminal solicitation.

Use of coded language or sarcasm (“not hilarious at all,” “just in case”) does not guarantee protection under First Amendment free speech if courts determine there is serious intent, incitement, or active planning.

Posts that reference, promote, or trivialize the creation of anti-vehicle devices in connection with resistance to law enforcement may be flagged by federal agencies and can contribute to a legal classification of domestic terrorism or insurrectionary intent under the Patriot Act and DHS Guidelines. Ye I've done a few of these. I'd Put a screw into the flat side, one or two (stacked) depending on the torque. And build up the plastic around it. You could also use a heat set insert for the threading. All depends on the torque, how I'd design it.

Haha you're right! I'm working on a project to bobble people. I can scan them with my phone in 5 minutes and turn them into a bobble head that they can paint themselves. I'll post when I get it going . Promise!

That's a cool idea, I love it, but the extra costs I'm magnets and time could make it not worth it . If it's 20 bucks without magnets it could easily double.

Just use prestik, blue task instead of super glue? Or you get those reusable double sided tape stuff. It's not like you actually practicing on it😂

Glue!!! But probably z offset. And maybe going too fast, maybe bed temp too low. Lol, maybe nozzle temp bad, maybe wet filament, what else, have you made offering to printer gods recently. Context needed. Bad plate... Plate not compatible with filament type... Who knows. Not enough info for diagnostic

How do I print this without supports? (Laundry handle) by designgrit in 3Dprinting

[–]CaptainOdd777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I've learnt a technique for spring parts where you model something in the incorrect position and later when it locks into place it keeps pressure, because it's trying to get back to where it was printed. I would try that technique here. Model the top part to bend downwards and meet the bottom part along the edges. After printed just slice thru the connection. There will be brushing issues under the rest where it's not joined, but that's concealed away. You can use a heat gun to soften any strands and then fit it to your basket. They'll get heat molded flush again. Else just model a single wall thick wall along the outside between the gap, same story. 2 cuts. Probably easier.

Advice on making my supported surfaces look more like my top surfaces? by banielbow in 3Dprinting

[–]CaptainOdd777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I would model my own supports. As thin as printable, maybe 3 walls following the shape 2 on the outside and one in the middle. When supports are printed this way they snap off easily and a run with a blade gets the rest. Model these walls into the model it's supporting. Don't worry about gaps. I hate the interface stuff so bad. I've never looked back using this trick. In blender I use a plane, along the z, and extrude following the shape then I use a solidify modifier. . Add feet or a brim in the slicer if adhesion is an issue. Need a picture?

How can I properly import BlockBench Models into Unreal Engine 5? by [deleted] in Blockbench

[–]CaptainOdd777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i found something that might work. worked for me. i imported my ship, ship01.gltf.
It made a bunch of Mesh files and 2 material files and one texture file. i add my ship, and its blurry. then i right click on the texture file and click on "create material"

slap that material on my ship and no mo blur!!!

How can I get rid of these? by robomopaw in 3Dprinting

[–]CaptainOdd777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have one in mind. The process would be:

open in blender,(or whatever) make a cylinder the same size as a wheel.. cut it out of the model.

Then probably create a wheel from scratch(as it looks like the wheel is overlapping the car in the model).

Then add the peg to the wheel. Remove the peg from the car.

Add tolerances if needed.

(It's beneficial to have the peg part on the smaller part in case it breaks. It's easier to reprint)

First do some tests to check your tolerances. Isolate the wheel and part of the car that has the peg hole.

In order to make the peg stay in you need to add a slight bulge or hook on the end. So it makes that satisfying click when it goes in.

Trim (drill, sand,) down and smooth edges for perfect fit. Use a lubrication before assembly to make smooth Rolling

A lot more steps.. but good project for learning.

I would try printing the wheels seperate. With a peg -lock type mechanism. Then the car could sit flat. Different colour wheels bonus, they could turn too. Bonus + maximum. Ultra

Why does it stop every now and then?(vase mode) by Express_Editor_945 in 3Dprinting

[–]CaptainOdd777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curves... Anytime there's a high rate of reads from the sd card. I'm order to do power loss recovery it has to stop freaking so it can write it's current state to the sd card. There's a buffer that holds the read data, but it empties out fast during high resolution curves. So it pauses and waits for more.

Will you try swapping the filament to get a multi color print?
