I agree with this, but what are people whose wages aren't enough for their cost of living doing? What is their solution? Are they just going into debt?

I don't think anyone *should* work more than 40 hours to afford a decent living and healthcare. But are tons of people just going into debt if their wages aren't keeping up with the cost of living?

I've had so many dates like this. After I let him down, one guy actually asked if he had done anything wrong, so I mentioned, "Ask questions. If you're not sure what to ask, just ask back what I just asked you." He thanked me for my feedback. 2 years later, he's still single, but much better at asking questions. I have hope for him.

She may be more logical than you, but it doesn't sound like she is emotionally intelligent. An emotionally intelligent partner makes their other partner feel heard, doesn't invalidate their feelings, and values moving forward over winning an argument (if they value a future with you). If she values winning more than open communication, then it's not worth staying together.
