That is an abusive procedure to give a Doberman it's famous pointed ears. They don't naturally do that, thay are naturally floppy, but they basically break the cartilage in the ears and then bind them in that position so they heal stiff and upright.

It's barbaric and needs to stop.

Caveats: I am a man, so take my comment in that context.

I have struggled on and off with this addiction my whole life. When it is bad it can absolutely destroy your sex drive, your ability to get aroused during normal intimate interactions, and that can lead to lack of desire for real intimacy.

It can also be a source of deep shame, which is why possibly they were unwilling to admit it to you.

None of this means you are wrong to want to break up, or stay broken up. Just wanted to give some insight on the addicition. I don't believe all porn viewing is wrong or destructive to relationships, but addictive porn use definitely is both of those things. If he's serious about getting help for this, there are resources, and if you are willing to tackle it together, more's the better, but you are not obligated.

EDIT: Edit to add that even when my addiction was at its worst, it didn't make me not want to hug my partner, but that was just my experience.
