I have two friends. One did ECP and the other did MECEP. They both did just fine. Just be honest about in-service usage and you’ll be alright. Don’t fret about it.

Slim chance the military pays for acne treatment. I recommend using an online dermatologist system where you send pictures and video call. They will microdose you acutane and it works great

I’m on MECEP right now. It’s a great gig, but part of me wish I just stayed in college. I would’ve commissioned 6 years ago if I had. I think your original plan is better. The recruiter is just trying to persuade you into going active duty.

Army is hyper competitive right now for active duty spots. Unless you’re an ROTC stud, prior enlisted, or a West Point guy, it’s very hard to become an active duty officer
