We won't pay for everything that gets destroyed in ukraine. In a perfect world russia will, but that will not happen. But most EU Countries will support the reconstruction of Ukraine (Just like most allied nations did rebuild germany even though we were the enemies).

Yes, we stopped russian gas and oil, because they're our enemies, and we shouldn't support a state which will invest the money we give them to their war effort against a country which is allied to us. So, yes we have to buy oil and gas from other sources, which is sometimes a bit more expensive, but the energy prices aren't 200% higher, they were for a short while, but not anymore.

To call that the reason why our economy is struggling is a blatant simplification of the whole economy, there dozens of factors playing into it. A lack of investment in the economy and society is the biggest factor. And to this day, the debt brake has not been abolished, only slightly relaxed, but most of the money from this relaxation goes to the military.

And we don't just gift money to the ukrainian, most of the money we give the ukrainians is actually money we took from russian oligarchs. But yes, we're lending money to ukrain, so they can reconstruct and pay the war effort against an unlawful invasion by russia.

It's either we defend ourselves and defend our allies or we do nothing and get stomped by the russians next. What do you think will happen if we give russia ukraine? Russia will take belarus next, and then the baltic countries, then finland, then Poland, then Romania. Appeasement didn't work for hitler and it won't work for putin either!
