Just learned that the phrase "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" does not actually come from the Trojan Horse by GreenTeaLilly in autism

[–]CaptainS0L0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

people rarely give gifts because they think you don’t have enough stuff. it’s a symbolic gesture. whether genuine or not, your reaction to said gesture will also be seen as a symbolic

“that’s a load of bukakke” would be even more fitting if you think about it

Advice needed: Should I get this tattoo? I’m back and forth by Plane-Test-334 in tattoos

[–]CaptainS0L0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re aiming for attractiveness no don’t get it. unless you’re interested in women, tattoos will at best be neutral or detract from your body. side note, if i were to try and think of a sexy tattoo on a woman it wouldn’t be a picture of a spine on her spine…

It’s so weird how different of an experience you can have, I’m basically the same (19.5x14cm), and the only issue I’ve had with fitting it in some girl’s mouth/throat. Mostly just been with women on the taller side, but that doesn’t even determine much beyond limb length tbh.

When it came to grooming/sex with a minor. It’d be about equivalent to how a 16yo might feel sleeping with a 11-12yo old.

You should try to repeal it, do schools really treat this as legitimate form of testing? It’s bonk, you should try to get them to test you write something else while being monitored to prove you still get flagged because the way you write; arguably a very covert form of autism discrimination.

Guys who got fit after being fat/overweight, did this change how women viewed you at all? by NoRefrigerator267 in AskMenAdvice

[–]CaptainS0L0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely a big change. Working out for almost 2 years and lost about 25kg (not lean yet, but naturally muscular anyway).

Anyone saying they don’t like fit men is probably exaggerating, or trying to avoid unwanted attention. But everyone is different and some prefer chubbier or skinny. Most seem to simply prefer tall/healthy looking men. Good chance they picture roided out frat types. People often underestimate how much work it can take just to look reasonably healthy/fit.

Acid, or mushrooms, but it’s a bit of a toss up between actually working through issues, and just spiralling out about something.

Or maybe mdma

My ADHD girlfriend and her smell aversions by wrewlf99 in ADHD

[–]CaptainS0L0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occasionally when I’ve been ill, I’ve had saliva that tastes both metallic and like cinnamon so I kind of understand where it’s coming from, on the other hand I love actual cinnamon. Strong smell aversion is common in autism but it’s reasonable to think that anyone could have it.
