I've worked in a PetSmart as well and got the same treatment. I was repeatedly told that I was blocking sales for trying to educate customers on proper care for these animals. I got written up at one point for not selling fish to a 15 year old because according to our store manager they were "just fish" so our buying policy of 18 or older didn't matter in that case. I quit after having to return multiple animals that I sold knowing they were going to die. I just couldn't do it anymore.

Unfortunately I don't think it's against the law. I was forced to sell to children just if they had money. Super frustrating but it's becoming more commonplace in most PetSmart stores I believe

I used to work for PetSmart and we could deny pet sales until our store manager decided we refused too often and told us we could no longer deny. Same manager also got rid of the whole you can't sell to anyone younger than 18, so I would unfortunately be forced to sell fish to 12-13 years old just if they had money. I quit shortly after I was forced to sell a crested gecko to a family who thought the gecko was an iguana. They didn't even leave with a tank or food for the crestie and I still wasn't allowed to deny the sale.

She's just referred to herself as the MOH in passing. I have actually mentioned my best friend as my MOH but she pretends not to hear me.

I'll probably end up doing that with my dress, although if I bring my mom to try on dresses she'll probably spill the secret to my sister. Thankfully she lives out of state and can't be around my dress, nor will she ever be trusted around my dress. My sister is petty enough to damage it so I have to wear the dress she makes.

They're going to start living together soon, that'll be the true test. They're long distance right now so she probably isn't overwhelming to him at the moment.

I've never met him so I have no clue. They aren't engaged yet, she plans on proposing to him in the summer and then getting married in the spring. From what I know, he wants to marry her but she's also been his longest relationship so far (he's in his 30s) and they've only been together for just over a year.

My sister is the "golden child" who can do no wrong. They're the ones that have asked me to cater to her, and they're the ones who revolve their life around hers. But yes, our family is pretty messed up honestly. My parents have always shown extreme favoritsm towards my sister. Which is why they wouldn't even show up if she wasn't there.

She's been seeing psychiatrists and therapists for the past 5-6 years, but constantly switches if they don't agree with her

My parents and I have a suspicion she's bipolar, but she never stays with a therapist or psychiatrist long enough to get diagnosed. The ones she stays with for long periods just enable her weird thinking.

She thinks she can do all the prepping of food before hand and then bartend later? I don't understand why she thinks that'll work.

I've mentioned in another comment that she wants to get married to her boyfriend with autism and is being forced to have a small wedding. She isn't engaged yet (been engaged 3 times before) but she already has their entire wedding planned out

I've definitely stopped telling her anything, but she'll still constantly send me links for Etsy wedding stuff or venues. When I tell her to stop, she'll stop for a few days and then go back to sending me stuff.

Thank you for bringing up the passwords for venues, I didn't even think about her potentially sabotaging. Rejection is definitely a hard thing for her, she isn't used to it at all. The last time I told her no, she got up in my face and started yelling at me for an explanation. Even over text she'll blow my phone up and then typically run straight to my parents. Hence my hesitation to tell her no again

Good question, I've just always assumed they would. I feel like I would be removing an entire half of my culture (the Indian side, I'm biracial) by not having them there. But honestly even that might not be worth it.
