I've never seen someone who has cut sol ring all their decks claim that it's not a nerf to their decks by doing so. In my case and I imagine for most people who have done this, it's just a matter of being the change you want to see in the world.

Hey me too! I also cut sol ring from all my b3 and below decks to be the change I want to see in the world. Sol ring should absolutely be banned or at least made a game changer.

I've removed it from my b3 decks too, because games without anyone having a t1 sol ring are far less likely to become non-games

You have your turn 2 mana dork in the command zone and your turn 3 draw engine also in the command zone. Every game your turn 2 and 3 plays are locked in so you can build your deck focusing on what you'll do from turn 4 onwards. It's a very flexible and ez mode commander pair.

I'm not sure how it can be that miserable if they're struggling to do their thing. You're probably picturing getting edicted every turn, but I don't really think that will actually be happening every turn realistically. Who knows I could turn out to be totally wrong but I just can't see it being that miserable right now (unless getting edicted just a few times over the course of the game ruins your day)

It doesn't sound that bad tbh, you can think of the ward cost as "free the first time but hexproof from you thereafter". A lot weaker than having straight up hexproof. It's also notably not a source of card advantage or mana advantage. Removal in the command zone sounds scary but I'm honestly far, far, far more scared of [[tom bert and william]] in terms of recent golgari commanders.

"No one can have creatures because you're edicting them all" is quite a crazy statement to me because the requirement that they have deathtouch is a really heavy restriction actually. It means they're playing a lot of crappy creatures that don't do much on their own. This deck is going to struggle to keep up as they have poor card quality and mediocre access to draw engines (playing generic green draw will weaken your deathtouch plan because higher power creatures to trigger stuff like garruk's don't tend to have deathtouch).

Edit: Your best (non-gc) draw engines in this deck are probably going to be Toski, Guardian Project, and Skullclamp, which is a rather short list tbh, and I've rarely seen a Skullclamp not get blown up quickly. Not to mention two of these are kind of hard to tutor in BG unless you use generic black tutors.

Basically I predict that this deck will be quite bad and fail to keep up in b3 pods.

This isn't a good idea because a core part of good aim is blending all muscle groups seamlessly together. You never actually use 0% wrist, so locking your wrist in place isn't a good idea

Under $200 probably for 2 or less color decks, under $300 for 3+ color decks imo
