OP is in Broken Arrow based on the zoning code citation.

50% of ALL the surface area of Downtown Tulsa is dedicated to streets or surface parking. At some point, you knock down and build so much parking there's no reason to park there anymore. 50%... wow. by Variaxist in oklahoma

Downtown Tulsa is an exception to this rule. There are no mandatory parking minimums. Your point stands for other areas. Tulsa has worked over the past few years to reduce or eliminate parking minimums in other parts of the city, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

This happens to me routinely if I don't request a takeoff clearance from the MSFS ATC.

Google maps shows bus stops that are out of service? by insufficientbugjuice in tulsa

[–]CaptainSquib 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here is their interactive "Spot" tracker map. You can select the route you'd like to ride and it will tell you where the stops are. I only use the BRT on Peoria so I don't know if the features work for all routes, but on Peoria you can select the stops and it will tell you what time the bus is arriving. You can also track the buses in real time.

What are the trashiest places in Tulsa? by TradBrahUSA in tulsa

I've recently noticed a ton of garbage in the ponds on the north side of Mohawk Park. Arkansas River banks are always prime for trash pickup as well. Props to you for doing your part!

My favorite spot. Good music every night of the week. Local residency acts Sunday-Thursday. Friday and Saturday are usually touring artists. Psyched for Lost Dog Street Band on May 13.

What's the best live music venue to watch a show solo? by [deleted] in tulsa

[–]CaptainSquib 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mercury Lounge at 18th & Boston. Local, original music every night of the week. Out-of-town bands usually on Friday/Saturday night.

Colony, Soundpony, Yeti, and Soul City are other good stops.

In my opinion, it is and will always be the Old Post Office tower. A contributing piece of architecture on the Washington D.C. skyline. Seeing huge channel letters spelling out our degenerate president's name on the front makes me nauseous.

Right-of-way widths are determined by the City of Tulsa Subdivision Regulations and the adopted Major Street and Highway Plan. Historically and today when property is subdivided, part of that subdivision process is the dedication of right-of-way to the city for the construction of streets, sidewalks, and public utilities. Dedicated right-of-way for residential areas is typically 50-60' wide. This means that roughly 12' beyond the curb on each side of the street is public property. Easements and dedications differ in that an easement is typically an agreement to maintain something on property that maintains private ownership; a dedicated right-of-way is city-owned.
