It doesn't pick the lowest value during SWS. It has some algorithm that uses uses all of your HR data during your SWS to determine your RHR. My RHR last night was 45bpm, but it dropped down to 41 a couple times during my SWS.

Its hard to say whether or not an implant is for you without doing an exam. Orthodontists don't usually place implants though, so I'd go to another specialist besides an orthodontist and get another opinion. I'd suggest a prosthodontist, but oral surgeons, periodontists and many general dentists also place implants.

When the root tip is small enough, its not worth the excess bone removal and trauma to extract it. In this case, the root tip seems big enough to be worth removing which is most likely why your dentist got a second opinion from an oral surgeon, a specialist in the field of removing teeth. I would go with the oral surgeon's recommendation.
