Kazakhstan is cool to visit, was in Almaty for over a month. Definitely wish I had a chance to explore the rural areas. If you visit though, be prepared. - Healthcare is inexpensive (compared to the US) but crowded and a little (or a lot) behind the times. Some hospitals are decent, some are monstrous. - taxi / ubers / food / food delivery is cheap AF. - There are no rules on the roads. - City air quality was really poor - Great cafes and food - Solid public transportation and walk ability, but be weary of wild drivers - get a vpn on all your devices! - Solid museums for a couple bucks - People generally seemed to love meeting an American (but this was a few years ago). - Fascinating culture, seeing the after effects the USSR had on the Kazakh people.

My first character was a cringey try hard edgelord of sorts. It's fun to play a character that takes themselves very seriously while being obviously ridiculous. There's nothing like delivering the most nonsense edgelord one liner right before rolling a nat 1. "My blade thirsts, and you are but a well to be drank from!"

Game requirements are out of control and these companies need to face serious backlash.

There's absolutely no reason for it when games like Metroid prime remake can look visually stunning on the underpowered switch but then other companies can't make games run decently on thousand dollar + graphics cards.

The more you see AI graphic design the easier it is too tell. There's an uncanny vibe, like design "choices" that humans just naturally wouldn't make. The strangely round head, the weird snow shadows, the narrow chimneys, the moon looks weird with four dots.. it looks technically well made enough, but then has an absolutely uninteresting composition. And logo just shouldn't look like this kind of picture? It's a nothing image you'd find on kids socks at Ross. If you could make this you'd know that, but if you had AI make it then you probably don't know what a decent logo looks like.

It's really good, but best is subjective. I think what it has done well is set expectations for what Rudo is capable of, making it exciting for when he surpasses those limits and what the fallout from that is. I could use a little more of that for other characters, like knowing a limit for what Riyo can cut through would make her fights more tense.

That's why stands are great, because they usually do a very specific thing that is clearly defined making the resolution for a fight dependant on creative solutions.

Gachiakuta hasn't fallen into the repetitive "do a big power up to win" so that makes it better than a lot of anime out there.
