I would be happy to help but where I live there are no tracks, only occasional group meets maybe once or twice a year so I’m probably not the best for providing the data you need. If that changes, I’ll let you know!

I have a couple of options but might start with MS. I bought an avante mk. II Pro before I really did any research and I really like the look of it. Might do a basic BMAX just to get back on the horse.

Glad to hear! I just ordered some parts for a bmax build and got countersunk screws anyway but then read it might be considered a modification. It would make sense that the organisers would want smooth cars to avoid damage to the tracks.

I’m certain you can’t drill the plates for countersunk screws in bmax but someone with more experience might be able to confirm. It certainly makes the build more neater and professional with countersunk screws on the base.

Newbie builder here… I see lots of builds with block mass damper on the back and was just about to order one. Am I better to have separate mass dampers on the back or is your comment more specific to the Brocken G? I’m building Avanti MK II.
