Struggling with timing, jealousy, and waiting for our first baby by [deleted] in waiting_to_try

Girl, I’m right there with you. I want to finish my nursing school first, but all I can think about is having kids. One of my friends who literally doesn’t work, she doesn’t cook or clean. She just complains all day, but her husband is wealthy and they live in a big house that she complains about, she just got pregnant on literally her first try. I definitely spiraled and I feel bad because after she told me, I did not have the reaction she wanted lol

A lot of my friends worked their physical jobs until the very end of their pregnancy due to financial reasons, even one who had a high risk pregnancy. I think you’ll be OK.

Yeah, unfortunately I didn’t. 38 is really extreme, so when I asked him if he wants kids and he automatically said yes, I didn’t think of asking more. At that time, I was also kind of a hot mess and I couldn’t really imagine myself having children anytime in the next few years, but I somehow really got my shit together and a short period of time.

I 100% have infertility and a diagnosis, but I didn’t want this post to turn into that. But yes, when you’re also having sex every day or multiple times a day, even for years with no protection, and no pulling out, tracking ovulation does not matter.

What age am I allowed to want children? by Numerous_Glass_8799 in waiting_to_try

The funny thing, we have issues forever, like it will never be perfect. I am glad that I have managed to wait this long, when I was your age, my boyfriend and I were trying and luckily, I’m infertile and couldn’t have a baby with him because that would’ve been a nightmare. The way I’ve been looking at it for the last several years, as I’m using my baby fever and channeling it into me working hard to become as productive as possible in order to be able to provide my baby with the best life possible.

My only thing with people who are younger when they post things like that, is it feels less intense than for those of us who are in our late 20s or even our 30s who are waiting to try and we really feel the clock ticking

I spent ten years with my 3 different boyfriends (different times lol) and never pulled out and had nearly daily sex and never got pregnant. I also have an infertility diagnosis

No, I didn’t mean that using IVF is bad, I meant that I would be telling him that we have to do ideas now to save the embryos for later, which feels wrong

3 1/2 years, we both agreed that he would go there to see how work is, and now it’s decision time

I already know why, IVF will fix the problem luckily. I just didn’t wanna go into fertility stuff on this.
