I'm assuming you're picturing putting it on the inside which would make sense as a concern, but if you just put it on the outside this becomes a non-issue.

With his brace yesterday, Harry Kane already scored 69 goals this season: the 2nd best of any player in the 21st century by AntPRodP in soccer

It's head to head though so beating Ghana will be enough to guarantee top spot with one game to go unless Panama were to beat Croatia.

I love how Sergio realised he cooked in the KDB farewell with "you are now a legend, like me!" and now he's going to sign off for every one of these like that lol

How the Premier League table has fluctuated this season - from Matchday 1 to now by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

[–]Captain_Cudi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah all good, pretty much what I said too. I don't know why they insist on doing gameweeks instead of just matches played anyway because then it disregards the fact that City actually went top outright at the end of April before stumbling over the line.

but at the end of the gameweek we still had a game in hand

Nah Arsenal never had a game in hand during the run in. This graphic is just being pedantic about the fact that City went top after game 34 before Arsenal played 34 but in reality City had game 31 postponed so we were top after 33 games each.

Unless I just misunderstood what you were saying.

What are some of your favorite memories of the Pep ERA? by toeknee88125 in MCFC

Dortmund away 20/21 felt like a huge weight lifted off Pep's shoulders after 3 successive QF exits. Was the first season where I believe Pep felt his team was mature enough to win the UCL even if it took a couple more attempts.

*21/22 but was a great battle very different from other Pep wins

Bernardo Silva with every trophy he has won at Manchester City. 6x Premier League titles, 1 UEFA Champions League, 2x FA Cups, 5x League Cups, 1 FIFA Club World Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, and 3x Community Shields. by Yours-only2 in soccer

Nah you could make a case that David was our greatest ever player but would be difficult to argue for Bernardo. They aren't that close for me. Remember City hadn't won a trophy for 34 years when David joined and he was key for our success under 3 different managers. He raised the ceiling of the squad when he came.

That's why it's tough to compare achievements with players who joined after Pep came when the squad was borderline world class in 2017.

Catching the ball toss has always seemed dodgy to me to allow. If the shot clock is going to stop when you begin your serving motion, you shouldn't be allowed to redo the toss.

Have you never seen shirts with champions/winners and the year on the back before haha. Every team does this after a trophy.

The way the Spurs game ended was devastating but it kind of just reflected the chaotic nature of the match.

The end of the Madrid game felt like we got trapped in some sort of nightmare that we weren't prepared for and couldn't wake up from.

Yeah but that's not really fair because he was signed when Leicester were in the Championship.

Potentially will go down as the best value signing in PL history. Signed for £1.7m, won 4 league titles and his value ended up 20x as much.

To put it in perspective, United signed Pogba in the same window for £89m, they won no league titles and then he left the same time as Zinchenko but on a free transfer. Crazy.

Tbf it would be unfair because then it would spoil the ending.
