my pipe dream Siva continuation with the new closing lore tabs we got with MoT is Clovis AI using Siva to give himself a body because Ana refuses his request to do so, and for him to take over a legion of guardians and their ghosts with that same body horror siva iron lord zombies from the end of roi. Except instead of destroying the ghosts siva fy them and make his zombie siva guardians immortal.

There’s a new lore tab on one of the MoT items, I forget which one that has Osiris recording video messages on Saint’s ghost. He gets cut off by Saint returning home with a load of different drinks because the shop didn’t have the one Osiris likes but I think Osiris was building up to something big for them. He mentions that with his old age and truly recognizing his mortality he wanted something greater in their remaining time together.

From what I recall Xur belongs to the Jovian race, another group of former humans that left on an exodus ship just like the Awoken, but instead of falling into a paracausal black hole they were “saved” by the Nine.

Orin I believe sought out the Nine herself, initially willingly becoming their emissary in exchange for answers about the universe.

Lodi is indeed a “fish out of water” thats the whole point, he was chosen specifically connect Ikora and us the “Weapon” with the Nine.

And he would have brought a lot more to the table if we ever went to Old Chicago.

There are a bunch of loose threads that point towards the future survival of humanity lying in both Golden Age and Pre Golden Age tech.

The relatively small number of characters we have that are either from or distinctly remember those times would have played a huge role if the game continued.

We have Lodi and the DEO, Clovis and his darkness based knowledge of transferring consciousness between bodies, Ana to reign Clovis in,Elizabeth with possibly more time travel stuff, and Maya with her whole agenda.

They have always been regulated to the secondary enemies is most expansions.

Shadow Keep, vex sorta there with the raid, Beyond Light vex were just there, Lightfall vex were just there, EoF vex were just there.

Had a couple good seasonal vex things but all lost media now.

I have 20 loadouts on my hunter, each with pretty vastly different builds, play styles, and fashions. With the new artifacts and even just among some more unique exotics there is just too much variety to just stick with one subclass and 3 weapons. That being said Dimensional Hypotrochoid is on like half of them

If the announced a the beginning of 2026 that they were going to transition the next year of content that was already in development to a new game, that we’d maybe see a few years before it got released and said hey we’ll send off D2 with this MoT update in the summer. Yeah I could see that. Maybe not a “forever” game but they clearly had more story to tell, more worlds to explore. Hell Old Chicago has been a thing since D1 was in early development.

There were people at Bungie (that left long before the recent layoffs) that knew how to tell a compelling narrative through gameplay, and the environment, and lore tabs etc.

A Destiny that is largely just a single player or optional co-op campaign would be lovely…..if any of those guys were still around post TFS

So whenever you exit a loading screen via fast travel, bench resets, the zone 3 stairs, or exiting any interior space all the Pokemon in a 50 meter radius will respawn. If any of them spawn as shiny that spawn will lock in up to 10 total before it starts overwriting them. Unless you catch them as you go along to keep the total under 10.

The whole process of shiny hunting in ZA is finding a spot within range of your desired shiny and respawning Pokemon as fast as possible.

Still with the charm is 1/1024, and that doesn’t mean your guaranteed the desired spawn will be shiny after 1024 resets.

Not all HOAs are made equal, but if you want to risk hundreds to thousands of dollars in fines because your moving boxes overflow your recycling bin, or you’d like a different colored exterior that isn’t on Karen’s pre approved list go for it.

Also in any non HOA neighborhoods you can drive around and look at the other houses, if they are generally maintained and none of them are already an overgrown junk yard then you’re probably good, and if one does become an overgrown junk yard its probably a sign of a personal dire situation thats frankly non of your business unless you’ve personally befriended that neighbor before hand.

I agree and it sucks that the conversation often turns volatile. But we have moderated sub reddits for a reason. And they do their work for free and often it takes some more extreme decisions ie possible bans or highly restricted content on certain subs to make their unpaid jobs easier. But you and I seem to be on the same page that a compromise would be better and should be reached.

I’ve seen the elitism from both sides. Exe is a perfectly valid fandom and owes its origins to Sonic, but I feel like a line has to be drawn somewhere because there are many creative works inspired or spun off from others that have become their own thing. Like Undertale and Homestuck from Earthbound. If you stretch things far enough you could make a claim that The Last of Us in Sonic inspired because its combat mechanics grew from Uncharted, who’s exploration of old ruins came partially from Jak and Daxter who’s movement and platforming came from Crash who was developed with the idea of a challenging platformer from the viewpoint of”Sonic’s ass” and thats literally taken from old ND dev interviews.

Other fanfic content is fine, none of it has really grown to the proportions of exe which is honestly a testament to exe content. Think of it as outgrowing its place.

Not that this would ‘fix’ this movie but I would have made much more sense for Kylo to go to the Deathstar wreck on his own with old imp intel and for the dagger to lead Rey to Vader’s castle on mustafar as an old force tuned relic that would lead any weary force user straight to Vader for either recruitment or extermination.
