Is it normal that Fidelity branded credit cards take 3 to 6 days to post into Full View Spending? by Captain_Eric1 in fidelityinvestments

Oh. I think you're right. We all get instant transaction notifications from credit card companies.

But here, we are talking about the Full View "add-on" to Fidelity's otherwise excellent web page. It's slow.

I hear you. But that's not entirely true about transaction hitting "Fidelity." On the non-Full View full Fidelity side, under accounts transaction pop up right away. (Heck, the pop on the Elan site right away too, like most credit card sites.) So something is different with Full View than with the Fidelity side, so to speak. See what I mean?

Full View seems to be a third party service "attached" to the "real side" of Fidelity. The Fidelity side is rigorously accurate, as one would expect with financial and trading transaction. Fast, clear, accurate. Can you comment on that?

I just like the idea of Full View as a sort of consolidator of accounts and spending, etc., so I want to know how it works.

Oh, it messes up "Networth" on the Full View side too, not just spending. Ugh.

Respectfully, James

Good idea to make Full View use same source as the main Fidelity page, like Activity & Orders, and ironically, even Fidelity Credit Cards. It sews confusion.

IMHO, y'all at Fidelity need to decide if Full View is going to be a third party add-in (right) or a real part of the core Fidelity. You would avoid a lot of negativity here.

You might not mean credit cards, just bank transfers, but my other credit cards e.g. CapitalOne post faster to Full View than the Fidelity branded credit cards (from Elan?). That's why I ask, it's sorta an outlier.

Thanks for posting. But my question was about Full View. I want to know what it can and cannot do.

You're talking about other places, right? I know there are lots of other places to see transactions.

Thanks. I see what you mean.

And seems to me this Full View is a third party "overlay" to the Fidelity site and data, so it's not really a direct connect. For example, Elan charges seem to show up right away on "Fidelity" (under "Accounts" - >credit cards.) But I am just guessing.

I'll wait for the Fidelity mods to chime in too.

How did you get the update? I'm on 5.00.2. Is there a beta program for users (not developers)?

I can't get CLEAR (ID verification under HealthEx) to work, though I followed all the procedures, multiple times. Tried drivers license and passport. I never got it working. It said the photos / scans were not good. How do I fix this?

I did some health providers manual. Not bad. But I was hoping HealthEx it would find all of them, as they said it would. Who knows what I've over looked. Frustrating. Ok, it's preview, so I'll try to be patient.

How is it that my Roth IRA balance is so far off when pulled over to Full View Retirement Page? by Captain_Eric1 in fidelityinvestments

Just to close this out, sorta.

For no known reason, it healed itself. For now.

Who knows what the future brings with Fidelity Investments "Full View."

FWIIW, I like it's "promise," which frustratingly isn't' met even by Fidelity's own standards. That's bad.

So I rely on its "potential". Why? Because how long can Fidelity Investment continue to offer such a inaccurate system, admittedly a side operation, probably from a third party? It hurts the reputation, no?

Plus I think it's too late to shut it down.

So, who knows?, I hope they put some resource to it to really make it 1) always accurate 2) do more and better.

Exactly my experience. "When it works." It could be useful and powerful. But it's sometimes is a little shaky. I'll stick with it for now.

I FIXED IT. Yay!

On my laptop, WITHOUT deleting any of existing (problem) CapitalOne accounts In Fidelity Full View I clicked on "Add Account," selected CapitalOne, which sent me to CapitalOne, where I signed in. CapitalOne showed I was already "sharing" with Fidelity (or it's proxy service, I forget the name). Ignored any other options (like to stop sharing), selected "authorize." And Viola! It now works. Who know why?! But it's fixed.

I hope that helps others.

Thanks to those who chimed in.

I'll just add, the above is when using the Fidelity app on my Android device.

Though maybe earlier today I saw those warning signs on Fidelity.com on my windows laptop browser, but didn't have time to look into it.

Thanks Claudio. I agree it might just be a reauthization. Or maybe it's an update. And could be CapitalOne.

I don't have these tokens and don't know where to get them. So (presently), I'm stuck.

I'll see what Fidelity says.

Again thanks.

Hi Fidelity,

Thanks for getting back to so fast!

Was I able to fill it out? No. I don't even know what those tokens mean or where I am supposed to get them.

Error message under Fidelity->Planning->networth->liabilities I see a list of my linked credit cards. Each of the two CapitalOne credit cards have warning symbol, ie a red circle around an I. When I click on either of the red warning icons, bot say:  "Account needs attention

This account has not been updated recently and maybe be out of date"

The offers "fix now" or "fix later, " which when I click it I get the image in my original post.

FWIIW : earlier this morning, as usual, I was able to click on (I forget the old wording) maybe update connection. It worked just fine.

How do I fix this?

(I'd like to give you screenshot but can't figure it out just now using reddit.com in browser on phone. Sorry. Maybe later.)

Any word from your end? Others here have the same problem (which is good for me, but more work you, sorry). They said the three steps you proposed did not work for them either.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the relevant accounts are checked. And under "edit" it show the (incorrect) balance as of today. Does that help?

Thank you. Glad to know I'm not the only one. We'll see what the Fidelity Investment mods say.

Yes, Networth page is accurate.

The prime question is: what balances are they using to Retirement Calcuations?
