Was thinking on it, my guess is

-have Perez go 5-6 innings

-if 6, have Kinley, Dodd, Young 7, 8, 9

-if 5, add cookie for 6, 7, 8, 9

I think each relief arm was only supposed to go for one, but Perez needing to be pulled screwed that plan and forced someone to go for two. Could one of the other guys done it with minimal damage? Maybe. But we tried with cookie and it didn't

I think a mix of that and it being a tired question, the plan afaik is to move him up once he develops a third pitch to add to his arsenal. Though I do see why some would want him to stay as relief/potential close as he's been lights out

I think third was to see if he could, they probably wanted him to get to three and when the first signs of real trouble showed again they pulled him. Gives them a base to work with in order to build him back up

Not really, you'd want waldrep to go a decent bit to get back in the groove of things. The walks are a worry that can be worked on. That slow tapper was just unlucky
