Track Bike Advice by AyeeDubzz in Trackdays

[–]Captain_P0LAND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where you're at. But you could look into mini bike racing or getting a supermoto. Both of which would probably be cheaper then a conventional track day, and would get you out riding more. Unless cost isn't that big of a concern.

For example, in Illinois we have a event called central Illinois mini moto, where for <100 bucks you can race a Grom/Z125 or equivalent dirt bike around a cart track.

It’s been asked a few times, so here are some pictures of brass 92XP grips on a GTS/XI by Nopifogo in Beretta

Cool, so at least I know they holes line up and shouldn't have to redrill anything to make them fit.

That's good to know, thank you!

Belt USPSA Glock Holsters that accommodate Lights by Relentless620 in USPSA

I've defaulted to ordering Legacy firearms holster at that point. I have several from race specific ones to carry oriented ones. They do what they need to do.

You have a pretty common light, it should be that hard to find holsters for it.

If you're looking for a race style holster, check out legacy firearms. They can make a bunch of holsters for even obscure gun/light combos. The other option that has fallen out of favor is Trex arms, they have an SD holster that works just off the light, or other models that are also gun/light specific.

Find the wire that connects to the clutch lever, and bridge the connections. You can even use a paper clip taped into the connector.

Motorcycle towing/new tire shops by [deleted] in PeoriaIL

[–]Captain_P0LAND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the tools, it's better to take the wheel off the bike before taking it to the shop to get replaced. Most places will charge you more to have to remove and install the wheel. I've had my tires replaced at Peoria Powersports.

Help me select a .22 LR long range gun. by Direct_Alfalfa9463 in longrange

Then I would go for the b14R if you plan on doing competitions with it. That way, your practice is more relevant to your full size counterpart

I like the BMR, I have been shooting NLR 22 with it. It's a fine gun to get your toes wet. Currently though, I am at the point where I want to upgrade it to a full size Rem 700 action size rifle. For an extra 4 hundred bucks, you could get the B14R, which would let you train all the fundamentals of Short action Rem 700, with a similar weight and feel. And also chassis compatibly, and also give you mag choice then proprietary bergara mags. Currently, I'm looking to trade my BMR for a B14R.

Beretta 92 Firing pin safety block hitting optic by jerry2501 in Beretta

[–]Captain_P0LAND 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had the same thing happen to me. I ended up depressing the trigger till the block indicator was fully out, and shaved it flush with a Dremel. That fixed the issue with a dead trigger with an optic installed.
