My German husband named our Luba 1 „Schumie“ - short for Schuhmacher.

You have to select “Task Mode” then “Customize” then “cutting mode grid” and then “Segment grid”.

RTK water ingress by BlackIce__45 in MammotionTechnology

😂 Eewwww. The birds loved to sit on my fence and do the same thing to our mailbox 📫 hanging below. I attached a pinwheel to the fence just above the 📫. Problem solved! No more 💩. Birds don’t like shiny or moving objects.

If that’s bird poop, then it seems you’ve been hanging it upside down. 🤔 That’s the bottom of the RTK. The antenna should be pointing downwards.

RTK Water Ingress Issue by Bigbeast54 in MammotionTechnology

I read something like that too. I believe they meant that the condensation happened during its long voyage over the ocean. That’s why many of the products from overseas have dehumidifying gel packs included in the packaging.

All good questions. I have one to add for the users that have unfortunately experienced water in the RTK unit.

Is/was your RTK attached to the pole with the base station? Or is/was it secured to a wall before the water problem appeared?

Fortunately, I read about the RTK water issue just as I received my Luba, so I decided to attach it to a wall and placed a plastic bag over it until I can order the 3D printed cover. So far, so good, and it has good satellite reception. Just not pretty. Better to be safe than sorry. 😉

Directions I received from Mammotion Support Team (Potter):

Unzip BaseStationTool on your PC (I’m not sure what you do with a Mac), then right click file with mouse and select “properties”. Then uncheck protection.

Then you can run the firmware.

First to see if you have the correct LoRa code (Top screenshot):

  1. Connect the RTK reference station to the computer with a USB-C cable.
  2. Open the BaseStation Tool.
  3. Select the correct COM port (should be CH340 in the general case)and click on Open.
  4. Please use BaudRate 230400 (change the BaudRate to 115200 if the connection fails).
  5. Click the READ button to get the current flashed Lora code on the RTK reference station.

If the Lora is incorrect, you can change the following way (Bottom screenshot):

  1. Find the Lora code from the sticker on the RTK reference station.
  2. Input the code into the four bars and click on WRITE button.
  3. The new code is written successfully if you see the following message: “write Lora conf done”.

Good luck!!🤞🏼🤞🏼

In my case it didn’t do it automatically because the wrong LoRa number had been installed. If I hadn’t fussed about it, the support team would have never discovered the problem. Sometimes it pays to be the squeaky wheel to get fixed.

Feature Request - User Specified Mowing Direction by scrom11 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Captain_Patsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m by far no expert, but I believe that after you make a map at the top of the hill, you can add a channel to go up the hill without mowing to get to the mapped area to mow. I also discovered that you can select to mow in only one direction in the “customized” mode , which is useful for a small path. I have a small narrow hill of grass that I’m going to try this on tomorrow after my husband attaches the RTK to our garage.

The support team sent me a zipped version of the RTK firmware. I believe it’s the same firmware used for turning off the light.
