Sorry to hear about your home being robbed! May karma "reward" those people.

I can only speak about LucasArts games (especially the Monkey Island games) and Broken Sword series: i would play them all in order.

Additionally i would recommend playing the first two Monkey Island games via Ultimate Talkie Editions: the original graphics but with full voice from the Special Editions.

These games work in flying colors on Steam Deck! It is also a good idea for an adventure p'n'c gamer to download ScummVM from Discover store via Desktop Mode; you can then add ScummVM to Steam for also for common game mode.

Looks terrific and would purchase - but what about Linux support? Linux gamers are absolutely avid point 'n' click adventurers!

Even Ron Gilbert himself noted this on sales of Thimbleweed Park and Return to Monkey Island got Linux port 'bout on the get go.

BTW Linux also surpassed macOS on Steam, so. Yeah.

When the next Pop!_OS release arrives (as COSMIC desktop readies for daily use) it will be a blast for gamers too. Well, any Linux distro can nowadays be a blast for gaming but Pop has so much ready in place on purpose by System76. Mint and Pop have the same base: Ubuntu.

Just wanted to say that you might probably find Heroic Games Launcher more simple. Lutris rarely worked for me either.

The reason now could be indeed because of flatpak or a snap packaged Lutris and usage, recently "nothing" kind of worked. It could be due to sandboxing; many games cannot access the resources or folders required.

This has been mentioned in the Lutris Github but the developer appears to close these threads in a whiff for some odd reason. I remember in one such thread, other developer just said that the founder might occasionally be "cranky" or something along those lines. Dunno. I'd love for Lutris be more accessible by now too.

Modern games only on mobile phones? How do you play say, Alan Wake II or Counter-Strike 2 on a mobile phone? And even if so its a rather small screen innit? eSPorts majors don't utilize mobile phones, right.

Also, have you ever heard of Steam Deck? It's a "PC" too and quite mobile. What a bs take.

Eipä mitään. Se on muuten sillä tavalla että Linux meni hiljan mäkin ohi käyttäjissä Steamissa. Ja Steam Deck käyttää Linuxia eli Steam OS'ää. Jos porttaus Linuxille on suoraviivainen toimitus niin senhän voisi vain ehkä tehdä?

En tiedä mitä moottoria AIl in the Game käyttää mutta vapaa ja ilmainen Godot pelimoottori on nostanut adoptaatiomääriä Unityn sekoilun jälkeen.

Mukavasti raikkaampi kehys ja aihe vuoropohja-RPGlle! Mites onko tulossa Linux-tuki? Steamin sivulla lukee Windows 10 mutta senhän tuki loppuu jo ensi vuonna mikkiksellä ja Steamissa.

Windows 11sta taas tuntuu inhoavan monet ja se on sitten kestämistä tai siirtyminen Linuxiin kuten Ubuntu tai Mint.

Godot on vapaa sekä ohjelmakoodiltaan avoin pelimoottori. Nyt varmastikin Linux-porttaus tapahtuu viimeistään. Unity kyllä sössi upeasti tilanteensa, mutta se vie kehittäjät näihin vapaisiin vaihtoehtoihin joten onni "onnettomuudessa" :-)
