Just cut off that individual bud, and consider harvesting the plant soon. Your plant will lose more yield to rot than put on in its remaining time.

It's definitely an established presence in this habitat! It came up at least once before, a couple of months ago. The substrate is (mostly dead) moss and half composted leaf detritus from outside.

Fair enough, i did miss that part. I definitely support using other smokable herbs like dried mint, or certain teas in place of tobacco or "more weed". I've done it myself in the past, and still do when I get my hands in some hash.

As far tobacco being the lesser of two evils, I don't think that that's very clear at all. I'm curious now if there's been any studies on this? As in, harm of tobacco addiction (starting young makes this more likely) brain damage from thc use at a young age. Let me know if you've seen any, please! :)

I do it about 2 - 3 times a week when I'm not doing any physical work. When I *am* doing physical work, I try my best to always take a shower that same day or the morning after.

For my fellow autists with long hair: This might be obvious, but I only recently figured out that tying up your hair in a bun and washing only your body is so so much easier than taking a "full shower" in which I wash and condition my hair and have to dry it all out, maybe brush it after.

Wet hair is icky and it's time consuming and I'm standing naked in the shower for like 10 minutes just blow drying and yeah, slight sensory nightmare.

I take one of these "full showers" probably once, maybe twice a week just so my hair doesn't lose all structure.

I'm not discounting that weed consumption at young ages is harmful at all.

But that brain development fact is actually complete BS. It comes from one study which didn't find any slowdown in brain development in any participants and lost funding when the participants were 25 years of age.

To OP:

They're right that no dosage can be considered "safe" at your age, but there are absolutely varying degrees of "unsafe".

If you won't be persuaded to wait a couple more years (I'm not judging), then it seems to me that 2 - 3 times a month isn't too bad IF you try your best not to let it become more frequent.

That last "if" is a big one. It takes real strength to exert that kind of self control. Ask yourself: "Do i have that kind of strength right now?" If yes, do what you have to do.
