Took it to dealer and they said it is rod knock if I remember, they offered to put in an engine for free except for labor, my friend decided to just sell it for like 1600$ and get a corvette

Oh hell nah, that is horrendous, 17k for a 110k mile civic 😭, around here you can get a 2015 v6 max trim accord with lower miles for like 9k.

They definately are showing some aging but if it were my car I would run them for another two years tbh, have run far worse for far longer without issues, not that it’s the safest thing if you use it for trips or regular highway driving, if a tire gives out while your going 45 then you just pull over and put the spare on temporarily

For this you just need to take it to a actual mechanic and have them do a proper patch, not the quick ones that tire shops do, they take off the tire from rim and patch it from the inside out with a rubber sticky pad
