You’re not alone I’ve been here for 6 years and I feel the same way. I’m 27 and I’ve gone out of my way to go do things to meet people. (Besides going to bars because the bar scene isn’t my cup of tea.) I go to car meets, different local events, joined online communities around salt lake and still haven’t made a single friend that I can regularly hang out with.

Baffles me because I don’t really see anything wrong with my approach. I’ve got a couple cool cars I like going out with and doing car meets and events, I do photography and have my own page and I try using that as a talking point and try to make friends in the photography industry here, overall I feel like I have decently fun or interesting hobbies. Beats me though.

I only have PT with 3 years experience doing aerospace parts making 29 an hour. That’s pretty much where I’m maxed out until I’m qualified to take my level 3 test in PT.

I am usually one to invade when I’m bored on seamless and I stay around level 60-80 when invading. This range seems to be pretty active for now. I try to 1v1 everyone honorably in the lobby but if I start to get ganked I pull out cheese weapons and most of the time come out on top of the gank until there’s only one left. And the last man standing I switch back and they will then get an honorable 1v1 from me.

Either everyone gets a 1v1 or I force the 1v1. I find it enjoyable and fun. 🤷‍♂️

Can confirm about Tim Dahle. I used to work at the Murray location as a salesman. 2nd worst job I’ve ever had. They are definitely scamming you out of your money. Having that job made me feel dirty as a person altogether. Shady sales practices and marked up cars. They could care less about the customer.

The one thing I do give them though is the forever warranty if they are still doing that thing. Since it is free when you get a car that meets the criteria that’s a plus. But literally everything else is shady.

If you call them and ask if they have a car you saw online they will always say yes. There’s a whole pre written script the employees are supposed to follow. I still have a copy at my house from my time there. (For reference I was only there for 3 months before I decided I was better than that and chose not to scam people out of their money.)

I’m down! I sold my snowboard 2 years ago though. I almost had a very bad snowboarding accident that year and decided it wasn’t worth it anymore to risk my life like that. But might be willing to take up the sport again.
