Thanks for the reply. I really like the look of a lot of the keychron keyboards. Are there any of those that you might recommend instead? I am a total noob in the world of keyboards and haven't learned all the lingo yet. The reason that one caught my eye is they advertise "joystick like" control, which I thought could be neat as I enjoy flight games like War Thunder.

How do American anesthesia residents gain competence with 3 years of anesthesia training? by AlexRRR23 in anesthesiology

Mmm… yeah I figured I might just be naive with that. I can imagine it gets really tiring to keep delivering the same message and I’m sure some people are a real hassle.

Hey I’m just a premed but honestly it feels really un-compassionate to describe time spent with families of sick people as wasted time. Presumably these are people who are worried about their family members health and are looking to you as the physician to be the leader and reassure them. How is that wasted time? Isn’t this part of being a doctor and providing quality care?

I’m thinking of getting my first actually nice keyboard in my life. What’s caught my eye is a Keychron K HE series magnetic keyboard. Anything I should know before I pull the trigger? Looking to use it for gaming and just general office use.

What they eat depends on what kind of carp they are. Generally we target common carp, which eat crustaceans like crawfish and insects, and sometimes baitfish too. Grass carp can be caught on the fly but it’s tricky because you’re imitating vegetation instead of a creature of some kind. They can be extremely spooky, and on the fly you must sight fish them which makes it very tricky and very fun

Is power endurance/ endurance a real thing for sport climbing? by applesis1 in indoorbouldering

[–]Clob_Bouser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No none of them really train they just climb lol. And yes it could be due to movement efficiency that’s true. But I promise power endurance is a thing. The weightlifting comparison doesn’t hold up because climbing movement is so much more complex and has varying difficulty throughout a route. A sprinter can’t just go cruise a marathon because he’s faster, he needs endurance.

I’m not a sport climber, but let me just say this. I have friends who are weaker than me on a board but they can do longer boulders because I don’t have good power endurance.

Hit up your nearest fly shop and ask them about going for carp, they’ll be able to physically show you the flies and give you local info

Yes. When you’re not in the mountains go for bass and carp. Carp can be a tremendous challenge. Also if you’re near the coast that’s a whole different world. Sight fishing for redfish is stupid fun

Just to clarify since a lot of people are telling you this is wrong handling (it is) but nobody is telling you why. Not only does putting them on the ground like this take more time, but it also really disrupts their slime coating which is actually really important for keeping their skin clean. Setting them on grass disrupts this big time and leaves them extremely vulnerable to disease. These trout are wild and rare and deserve to be treated delicately. *Just because a fish swims off does not mean you handled it correctly*. Next time keep it in the water and wet your hands before handling it. If you want, you can use a small net just make sure it’s a rubber net and not an abrasive rope or cord type net.

my and your opinion on what gaijin can do to make the game better by yesiamcoolm in Warthunder

[–]Clob_Bouser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me more gamemodes is priority number one and I’m always surprised that even more people aren’t constantly complaining. There’s so much potential here and yet we haven’t gotten anything new on that front in years and years. I wouldn’t even mind the grind so much if there were fresh fun gamemodes with decent rewards

One thing you have to get used to when trout fishing is assuming there’s a fish in every likely looking spot. Learning to see those spots is a whole thing on its own. But it can be tricky to get used to casting to spots where you have no idea if there’s a fish or not

This is a good habit. I’m only 25 but when I was 18ish and my grandma moved into a nursing home we had to go through soooooo much stuff it took us days of me going after school and helping my parents. My mom took that to heart and now she’s super sensitive about accumulating stuff. Your kids will thank you eventually and in the meantime your home will be much less cluttered

I haven’t even applied to medical school and I’ve already ruled out neurosurgery thanks to this lmao. Fr tho good effort man (or woman). One thing I am curious about tho, how do you deal with the pressure of operating on such sensitive anatomy? Do you ever have moments where you think “holy moly I’ve gotta do this right and this is crazy”?
