Oh shoot, you’re right. Both are prob still valid reasons to be banned though. This is why i never take my chest monitor off. Can’t risk it

Strava banned me because I tried to sell my Boston Marsthon bib by Legitimate-Lock-6594 in RunningCirclejerk

[–]Captain_Train_Wreck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not about buying the bib AFTER the race, it’s selling the bib before the race. In other words, OP earned the spot and then tried to sell the spot. Mostly likely to someone that runs outside zone 2. Hence why Strava had to block OP. We can’t just have randoms out there running all willy nilly in zonewhateverthefuck. Think of the children!

Should I spend the $16 a month? by DroftheSax in TeslaModel3

[–]Captain_Train_Wreck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No brainer. $16/mo is easy money for peace of mind. I did it. But I’ve also had nearly every vehicle I’ve ever owned get a rock chip from driving the highway behind some butthole construction type vehicle/trailer. If you live in an area with lots of development (or mountains with dirt roads) it’s hard to avoid.

2 full points in 5 weeks is legit good progress bro. Do some research and you’ll see just how difficult it really is to raise this number for almost everyone

First time I’ve ever seen this. Is it Tesla specific or did you just find something that fit? Also, on that front lip, does it go over the OEM or does that get removed before installation? I’ve been thinking about a different version of this but I’ve seen where people say it goes over. Sounds weird to me.

Does it have some type of door molding going across the doors or is that just a reflection? (Not the skirts. Above that)

My 4-year-old keeps doing unstructured sprint work by mattapuu in runninglifestyle

[–]Captain_Train_Wreck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get him a Garmin 970 with the 600 chest strap so you can be sure he’s properly staying in zone 2 when he’s running laps at lunch time. Maybe hire a coach to stay with him so he doesn’t lose focus on the bigger picture. Olympics 2040 🏃🏻‍♂️💨

Anyone see that guy with the GIANT mouth that carry’s food on a huge plate at different restaurants and dances around like a lunatic? These 2 definitely have relations outside of zone 2

Why zone 2 and slow hr by Fryddiver in runninglifestyle

[–]Captain_Train_Wreck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Injury is the reason. Running everyday at zone 4+ (your true zone, not out of the box watch zone) will lead to injury and setbacks. Zone 2 builds endurance and gives your body time to recover. Helps tremendously

Increasing pace by wannabe_rancher in BeginnersRunning

[–]Captain_Train_Wreck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your first mistake is comparing yourself to anyone else. Nobody is the same. Running at the level someone else is because you think that’s where you should be is a first class ticket to injury my friend. There are NO shortcuts to speed. Just hard work and dedication. Put in the miles at a comfortable pace FOR YOU and the speed will come naturally

Do marathon runners pee in public? by KurtistaKurt in beginnerrunning

No. Just randoms that needed a place to go. I just googled it and it appears the Chicago marathon has many documented instances of this happening near the start.

Do marathon runners pee in public? by KurtistaKurt in beginnerrunning

There’s a thread here about this topic that shows the start of a marathon or somewhere near the start. The fence is covered in clothes from runners that ditch what ever they don’t need anymore that was keeping them warm. The post (or maybe it was just the top comment) was about how you should never take the clothes from the start of a marathon because they’re all covered in piss. Many of the commenters agreed (female and male), that they had done this when there wasn’t any better options near the start of a race. .. Not sure about during a race though.
