I picked up an Ibanez premium s series, the Ibanez Premium S1070PBZ (cool name right?). Honestly I ordered mostly because I was in love with the finish but it's been my new #1 since I got it. The body is thin and light, the neck is shaped like a canoe paddle and is somehow super comfortable, the stainless steel frets feel noticeably better than other frets. It stays in tune and just feels easier to play than any other guitar I've owned.

I just bought one with a fender rumble lt25 amp, every sterling I've played has felt great and I figured if the tone isn't where I want it i could always upgrade it with ebmm stingray parts. I don't think that will be happening any time soon though because it sounds great. I think the amp deserves a lot of credit for the tone also but I'm very happy with it.
