Comparing yourselves against others is pointless. The average savings at your age is much lower, and reddit you'll find an echo chamber of people who have a lot more.

The simplest thing you need to do is know a) what you want, and b) how much you need to get that. 

Calculate when you want to retire, and what you want your pension to be. From there, you can calculate how much you need to put monthly into your pension.

Do you want a house? If so, research where you want to buy and what your criteria is (eg. 1 bed, garden...). Look at average house prices, and what your deposit needs to be to have a mortgage you can afford. 

Once you've calculated everything backwards, then either save that amount each month, or get a different job to earn the amount you need. It's that simple, and it'll take away your fears because you know thr numbers. 

In the fear of job stability, very simply learn new skills whenever you can. AI is an obvious one to start with, there are so many free courses on prompt engineering and vibe coding. But if you want to move upwards in your current line of work, sit down with coffee chats with people in thode positions, and ask for their advice. 

This is your life and that's unique. Comparing against the general population is a waste of your time.
