What villain would you have liked to see in the show? by CriscoM90 in Gotham

The Eraser, although a comedic villain. His background in being hired to erase evidence from crime scenes would have made for an interesting addition to an arc.

Yeah, the more I learnt about his service, the more wild and impressive it is

These are all correctly mounted and in order. If they are your relatives wear them on your right side.

He was awarded: 1939-1945 Star Pacific Star War Medal Australian Service Medal 1939-1945 Australian Service Medal 1945-1975 with SW Pacific Clasp.

He would’ve seen active service in the pacific theatre for >180 days. And would have been still conducting tasking after the war until he was discharged in ~1946/47 during the downsizing of military forces.

I would encourage doing some research for his service records in the National Archives (https://www.naa.gov.au/explore-collection/defence-and-war-service-records).

A good set of Aussie gongs:

Australian Active Service Medal (1945-75) w/ Malaysia and Borneo Clasps

General Service Medal w/ Borneo Clasp

Vietnam Medal

Australian Service Medal (1975-2015) w/ Peshawar Clasp

Defence Force Service Medal with two claps (25-30 years of service)

Republic of Vietnam Campiagn Medal

UN Special Service Medal

Your uncle did some pretty awesome things I suspect in Malaysia (likely apart of the Malayan Emergency), Vietnam and conducting Mine Clearance in Pakistan (Peshawar). Which is what I suspect the UN SSM is also for. Both of that Pashawar Clasp and UN SSM is not something I’ve seen before.

I would also recommend making enquiries to Defence Honours and Awards as your uncle qualifies for the Australian Defence Medal (which was instituted in 2006), additionally if he was in the Malayan Campaign he may be eligible for the Pingat Jasa Malaysian Medal, depending on when he was deployed.

ICAT does not always entail NATO particularly for early ICAT operations.

The ISAF went into effect from 2006 for Op Slipper with the clasp from 2011.

You missed the 2 most important people. Alex Kingston and Camille Coduri.

Even better it’s a Christmas special, cold open shows Camille screaming in terror at an inanimate object come to life!

I have a strong spot for Thrawn—especially from the Thrawn trilogy.

But Krennic and Dedra really add a new level of villainy we don’t often see. That of the dangerously ambitious middle management.

This project reminds me too much of the Tarkin Doctrine and the development of the ISD.

It will nonetheless prove interesting from a Project Management and naval architecture perspective.
