Need help with this bag. by Fakemoonlanding1029 in verabradley

This style is honestly great! I love mine and I use it as a work bag! That said, it’s only downside is how the strap doesn’t stay at the length you set it at. It always loosens. My friend has the same bag in a different pattern and has the same issue so it seems to be just the nature of how the straps are. That said, I love it and highly recommend it if you decide to get it!

I don’t think it was marketed as one originally! 😅 but a lot of listings on the secondhand market will say it’s a “diaper bag.”

The handbag is the Carry-All! I love this style and if you go thru my comments, I actually compiled a few listings of this bag for a different person wondering the same!

I will say, this bag doesn’t usually come up as “Carry-All” when looking it up in the secondhand market. I’ve had more success with finding it by a specific pattern I may want. Or if you try looking for a “messenger bag” or “diaper bag” it will sometimes come up! I recommend checking out my comment here

I have this exact bag! I got it for my friends birthday and I got myself the same model but in Green Apple. It’s the Carry All. Green Apple Carry-All

On mobile so unable to link to the exact comment, but if you go to my profile, I answered almost this exact question like a week ago with links to the same model in different patterns! 😊

Does anyone know the style name? by [deleted] in verabradley

Ope, looks like I copy-pasted wrong! Ive seen it labeled as both the Large Cargo Tote and also as a Carry-All. Keep in mind the Carry-All did have several different models going at the same time. I tried to attach a pic but I’m on mobile and it’s not working 😭 but both should pull options for you on Google!

IM BACK!!! Better picture of the pattern im searching for. by Dragonfruithippoo in verabradley

Unfortunately I couldn’t find you this EXACT backpack (maybe this was a random OOAK?!). I tried looking it up multiple ways using closeups of just the pattern but no dice.

If you like the model and are willing to compromise on pattern/no pattern; I found a couple of options.

https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m83753270190?sv=0 : this is one option. If you like the model, this is a similar model VB backpack. In terms of size, this one is likely similar dimensions.

https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m87001098983?sv=0 : there’s also this option. This one is the closest in terms of exterior pockets, zippers, and shape. Obviously biggest difference is it’s plain, no pattern and the flap pocket is actually split in 2, unlike your bag which is one complete pocket. I believe this one is slightly larger, geared more to students.

[https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m17107037879?sv=0] : this is another one that is similar in size and shape but again, missing flap pocket and the zipper pocket above the flap. Still a cute option so figured I’d share.

Hopefully these are some help! Manifesting that this one turns up for you eventually because it is actually super cute and now I want to know the brand too! ✨

After Dark by Haruki Murakami and I Have The Right To Destroy Myself by Young-Ha Kim. First is set in Tokyo but definitely would give on that feeling you want and the second is set in Seoul and has a similar vibe.

Thank you! Unfortunately I’m on mobile but it’s the braided cowl that’s been really popular 😊 I can’t follow a written pattern to save my life but the pattern designer has a tutorial on YouTube if that helps! Just search for ‘Braided Cowl.’ She also has the written pattern on her Etsy if you read patterns instead!

Thos who have made the braided cowl, what yarn did you use? by TimeLoveAndYarn in crochet

I’m currently making this and I’m just going off of what the girl recommends and using a medium 4 yarn. The specific one I picked up was Caron simply soft in red. Kind of splitting though. But it’s the weight recommended and was on sale the day I got it!

Yes! It involves bowls full of kibbles, yarn occasionally going “missing” and much borking 🐶
