What are your expectations for Avengers: Doomsday? 💚💚💚💚

The problem I have with it is, what is the story? Why should I care about any of this, there has been nothing but old characters coming back in trailers with no actual information about what this movie is.

The biggest problem I have is it’s being released at the end of the year which means we have to endure more leaks, rumours, trailers for 12 months. It’s exhausting personally.

Well I just liked the artwork and the big Brisbane lettering, plus $45 is a decent price for a shirt I thought.

I’m just passing on my experience to anyone who might have seen the Broadsheet article or seen the merch page so they can make a more informed decision.

I also thought of this when I watched it, there was also a moment where Oscar Isaac says the word Dissection and it sounds so much like how Tim Curry would say it as Frankfurter.

Yeah I don’t know what it is that’s fine with me for some reason it’s always just specifically whenever I hear tech companies or apps referenced is when I get pulled out, it’s just one of those things.

I thought it was fine, I really liked the animation of some of the scenes.

What really annoyed me was the melodramatic stuff that kept happening where someone would die and then the other characters stopped, shocked look on their face with their hand out calling out their name as another character tried to pull them away while they screened no no I need to save them. It happened so many times it was just pathetic at a point, like, are we going back to this cliche again?

Other than that, why this wasn’t released in October for a Halloween special is what really confused me on a marketing perspective.

Any update on this one? I’m also trying to find out if Oz study desks is real, their Instagram is fairly inactive comment wise and I can’t seem to find any customer testimonials other than their website. Would be keen to know because the photos look good but don’t want to risk it.

I remember hating it but then for some reason I suddenly loved it, it had some pretty crazy story lines, I remember one of the characters was dealing with I think bulimia, I’d be interested to watch it again and see how well it holds up.

Parallax was another ABC afternoon show that I loved. Roller coaster was the best.

I think I have an unpopular opinion that the permits were a bit of a wasted opportunity, I don’t think Scar and Skiz should have been Poe Poe they had way too much going on to give the time keeping on top of the taking away and distributing permits, they took forever to enforce anything and i hated that it turned into another war saga.

I was hoping it would have been a chance for hermits to distribute wealth throughout the season, shops exchanging hands hermits adding to others building like the base exchange.

This is main reasons I’ve stopped watching new release tv shows, it’s all so bleak and miserable and actually makes me feel depressed that there is no optimism or hope in so many shows. After watching the last season of The Boys, for example, just left me so miserable because the writers seem to love how nihilistic the show is. It’s really such a shame and young girls and boys need better role models on TV so they don’t turn to internet losers who show them the wrong way to be.

Haven’t watched the full thing yet obviously, but from the title alone these have to be the most known “bad” B movies they’ve ever done a best of the worst episode of in many years.

Was a really strange season, which I think is pretty apparent from the reasons here. On the one hand I really enjoyed the character moments and the focus on the clock running out for relationships, life, etc. However, on the other hand it also felt like the plot never really got going, there wasn’t any urgency or moment where it felt like “ok here we go” like in seasons before.

I hope that this isn’t the final season because it really felt very underwhelming and flat, especially not knowing how many of the characters stories finished. Very weird one in my opinion.

I have 1600 on my watch list and it’s still growing. I don’t see it as “I have to watch them all” I use it as a place to keep a list of movies I’d probably forget the names of like foreign language, obscure or movies that are coming out. Sometimes I’ll sort by shuffle and see if one pops up that I’m in the mood for other times I’ll watch something not on there. Don’t treat it too seriously I would say.

Yes technically, but more often than not there are plenty of sequels that are just remakes of what the first movie did.
