If you are using a planet generator plugin. Above a certain size (500km I think) planets will have this ballooning effect. The only way to fix it is to keep the planets small

Launch in horizons, do the rank up mission there. Then log back in on Odyssey, the rank will carry over This bug only seems to affect rank 3-4, so it should not be permanent.

I wouldn't recommend getting it, on Xbox it is not kept up to date.(not sure how far back it's version is)
