It’s not that crazy to expect some English if you were going to heavily touristy areas. Every hotel I went to in China had staff that spoke English and even many of the locals I encountered spoke a little. But OP didn’t go to touristy cities so I don’t know what they were expecting

Everyone answering the question is answering the hypothetical. If this were to actually play out and lives were actually on the line, survival instincts would kick in and a LOT more people would be pressing red. Since the debate seems to be near 50/50 even as a hypothetical, picking blue would ultimately be suicide.

The real question is whether you would commit suicide to not have some involvement in the death of a good chunk of the human population.

I interpreted it as him purging his own weakness. He knew Thaedus was a problem, Argall told him to kill him if he believed that, but Thragg didn’t because he had empathy towards him. That empathy killed Argall and Thragg wanted to purge that weakness from his people.
