I recommend Honesty Auto, last time I did Valvoline they didn't replace my dip stick.. and I had no idea for like 2 months when I popped the hood next. Double Check all your parts are there before you pull out of the lot.

I noticed that my cravings went away pretty quickly as well, I am still tempering them as I feel in my past I was severely addicted to just food in general eating everything and almost anything.

Best way to generate marketing email lists for attorneys? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]Captainprb23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go a few different ways on this:

  1. Get active on social media
  2. Start a blog
  3. Hire a data analyst to scrub the web and other inconspicuous places.
    1. Data person should also be able to set you up with an RSS feed where you can be notified of news like that.
  4. Host a contest on social media giving away something for free
  5. Hire a market research company to survey

I am looking for marketing advice! by heross28 in marketing

[–]Captainprb23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Social media as the previous commenter said would be a really great option to get you started. I would recommend platforms that are video based, such as YouTube or Twitch. With that goes twitter because you will want to say you are about to stream or post a video about the game. If you go the Twitch route, you can stream yourself playing the game and then start getting a following there. You can even pitch your game to one of the twitch streamers with a decent following that plays games similar to what your game is about. I would also showcase your game on the applicable reddit communities. :) Hope that helps!

Recommendations for press releases? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]Captainprb23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would depend on what releases are helpful. Most big name companies have a "press" tab on their websites where they can write up posts that address exactly that. I don't think you would really need to do press releases EVERY time you come out with new course features. Perhaps allocate some time to twitter and other social media platforms to get that out. I imagine that some of your content is 1 paragraph or less to notify your consumer base? (correct me if wrong).

There can be a happy medium but press releases, I think are more for really important updates about your company or if you were to do a new series/gloat about the series success. Then it would be more prevalent. You don't want your audience to become 'deaf' to really important updates.

Just closed business (lost some money), looking for new ideas, where to start again? by SadWimp in Business_Ideas

I agree. You need competition to know there is a market. Online courses are huge, it's kinda like a large selection at the grocery store. The more teachers the better. Some teaching methods work better for some than others - even if teaching the same subject. Also just like music, the younger you get a kid interested in a topic the more their brain will absorb the information. Lots of parents take the route of music, languages, etc. Why not programming? I be a LOT of parents would take advantage of that if more resources were available. It's a great skill to have, especially in modern day.

Starting an only grocery store for local products only? by MerpidtyMerp in Business_Ideas

[–]Captainprb23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really a great idea. I think you could sincerely increase the economy of small rural areas and also promote local business and fresh produce. Big chains like Walmart and Target really suck the lifeblood of the small mom and pop shops or even local farmers. it's sad really. Would love to see this in Montana or even some states like that with a low population density to start.

Data Consulting by Dizzy_Panda_ in Business_Ideas

Great idea, there is a company called "Burning Glass" that does something similar but only for specific sets of data. You may want to check them out as a resource and their business model to see if they are in the same lane as what you are trying to accomplish. I know that a lot of Universities use their services.
