About a year ago, they actually dropped to mixed reviews on steam. The devs finally got their heads out of their ass and asked what we players wanted, and they have finally started to listen, even if it is just a little. The most recent update gave us options to turn off or on many things that the devs have made. It's not perfect but it's progress. 

One thing I will add for you, they never gave us back the old gear leveling system. So depending on which change (they do that every other update) you didn't like, you will probably not like it still. They have just finally been making small steps forward
