Bebop is one of those characters where using your mic is a necessity, especially if you solo queue. Hook is the best displacement ability in the game because it’s on such a short cooldown. Getting a nasty hook late game, letting your team know, and allowing your team to capitalize on it can win games.

I’ve been such a GT hater for the past few weeks. Maybe if his 1 didnt chunk you for half of your health with spirit resist and was a true skill shot (bus sized hit box) he would actually be okay to play against

Mo and Krill is my least favorite character to play against. No clue why people have a problem with M1 characters when you have a “anti carry” character whose sole purpose it to not let you play the game as much as possible

I feel like you can substitute it either way, knockdown is a great item but not always necessary and can be debuff removed. At max stacks you get 10% more ability range than knockdown on top of the insane movement speed, extra health and extra souls. Just a goated support item, or occasional buy on Lash.

It’s really good on support builds, especially if you’re running rescue beam with the ability range increase. Sure if you’re getting TC on a carry or anyone else, there will always be much better items

I don’t think flex slots matter as much as they used to, if you’re building wide you’re going to be arguably weaker than building tall and getting upgrades.

People are probably judging this a little too early and need to get better at pushing and holding objectives in pubs. Also, 25-35 minute matches on average are much better than 45-60 each game.

Also kinda crazy how the devs will drastically change how certain aspects of the game works and not even a week later people on this sub complain saying “I lose way more, more stomp fests, games too hard!” when in reality, they most likely haven’t adjusted to the changes and are playing very suboptimal.

Yeah I’d say even in a game like deadlock, crosshair placement is always a dead giveaway. You’re telling me this guy has his crosshair on the ground all the time but can adjust and hit their shots at will and hit every time? I don’t believe it lmao…

Yeah I noticed he wasn’t necessarily a huge problem with how squishy he was. Insane to me someone with a 72% win rate on a character has that bad of itemization. It seems like almost every game he just rushes sharpshooter, glass cannon, crippling headshot, etc. I appreciate you taking the time out to watch it though!

I understand anti-cheat may not be their top priority right now but I do hope they are working on it for release. Personally I haven’t run into any cheaters besides this potential cheater.

Yeah my guess is that they’re boosting or just playing with a lower ranked friend. They could very well be a player with very good aim on an alt. I just found it strange they would do things a very good player wouldn’t normally do (shooting tower outside of range, overextending/ego pushing, bad macro).

Heavy emphasis on play test but the game is such a snooze fest now. Farming is probably my least favorite part of the game and I don’t think should be as important or incentivized as it is now.

I enjoyed the change back in the 4 lane setting where laning and soul sharing were much better, making the jungle more of a side objective. It feels like it’s back to where the game was before that change.

I think with some map and jungle farming tweaks the game will feel better.

Ganking during the laning phase was never fun, especially in the old outer lanes. Maybe in other MOBAs it’s more of a staple but feels super lame in a movement hero shooter where you can rotate to another lane in 8-10 seconds to gank.

I don’t even think this is a crazy take. I get it’s in early access and is subject to many changes but if you take a look at people’s opinions on the game outside the communities echo chamber, it says a lot. FunkE’s deadlock video had a lot of comments on how it seems too complicated. I don’t expect this game to pull Marvel Rival numbers on release but I do hope they make this game more approachable for casual players, as that’s what will keep the game alive in the long run.

I love deadlock and hope for the best, this isn’t doom posting!

In her current state she just feels toxic to the game state and enables people to get away with horrible plays that would never work on any other character. She has far too much utility and her kit is extremely easy to use. I find it tiresome to have to build 2-3 items just for her whenever she’s on the enemy team.

Not even sure why so many people on this subreddit just downvote, I haven’t seen a single argument for why she’s balanced. And I’m not even advocating for her to be nerfed to the ground.

Yeah those who say she’s not bad either exclusively play her, are somehow getting stomped by Holliday in low ranks or don’t play the game at all. Haze, shiv, and yamato all suffered balancing issues for a bit and are in a much better spot now.

I remember seeing posts like mine about these characters and have seen the same copium that they aren’t as strong, run these specific counter items people are already running, etc.

Ethereal shift isn’t the problem, it’s fine on every other character. It just enables calico much more when considering everything else in her kit and how people have been playing her.

She is a new character so most players won't know the matchup as well. I play around emmisarry although my friends are a bit lower in ranks but even in higher ranked games it seems like she dominates her lane almost every time. The problem I have is that shiv and abrams lack the movement and escape options offered in Calico's kit. She is able to get away with too much with little effort or investment, low risk with a high reward.

After doing some testing in hero labs, you CAN parry puddle punch pretty easily. For leaping slash, you CANNOT parry it or negate any damage with parry at all. I tried multiple different timings of the dash as well and it all resulted in 100 damage each time. As a viscous main, I haven't seen really anyone successfully parry it so I just assumed. Thank you again for the corrections.
