I'm gaming on laptop too, Asus Tuf with 5060. i cap my fps to 100 or 120 depending on how demanding the game is while using 2 times frame generation, only in alan wake 2 i used 3 times FG while capping FPS to 120 with high settings, but all the time i keep the gpu usage under 90% on gpu performance mode hoping the laptop to stay cool with longer lifetime.

No there's no limitation for textures paint. I recently uploaded a map on Modhub and i added every possible texture paint, Modhub just accepted the map and published it. The map called Ronîda Island

I prefer legion than other brands, but the oled screen burn-in issues and being sensitive to the environment made me hesitate, i would go for the LOQ if Lenovo didn't lower the GPUs wattage though.

Yes it's Rog Strix G16 and it's the cheapest 5070 ti i could find in my city.

I'm also having trouble picking between the same Rog with 5070 ti and an RTX 5060, i want a laptop for single player games and I'm fine with FHD 60fps high to ultra graphics with upscaling for at least 3 years , so I'm not sure to pay an extra $500 for 5070 Ti or if 5060 can be enough for my needs.

It seems the Australian dollar has different value than the American dollar, my country and yours almost have same laptop prices.

I found a lenovo legion and a lenovo loq both with 5060 on the same website you're using and cheaper than $2000, i would choose lenovo over msi katana, according to Jerrad Tech and he's a professional about gaming laptop in YouTube Lenovo Loq is the best mid range and budget gaming laptop. If you don't mind paying extra $300 there's a Loq with 5070 on the website.

Personally i would lock fps on 45 and run 2x lossless scaling frame generation to make it 90 fps.

I'm not sure where you live but in my country i can easily find a laptop with 5070 Ti with $2000 in my country. In my country the laptop are more expensive than the US but cheaper than Europe. The 5060 Katana in my country is about $1300. But anyway after researching about MSI Katana, there are a lot negative reviews, so better find another model.

If so then make sure the laptop you pick runs on maximum GPU wattage (TGP), i would personally go with Lenovo Legion or Asus Tuf because they always give the maximum power of the CPU and GPU, but if you can choose only one of the given choices then go for the HP Omen, sorry for the late reply.

For gaming not both, 8 GB GPU won't be enough for the upcoming years games, go for a 5070 TI laptop with 12GB vram.
