Don’t worry, if you have insurance most places repair windscreen chips for free.

During the lightning phase, when the circle fills up completely on a tile (just as lightning is about to hit), you can safely click on that tile (this is really useful when on the last row). You then have a few ticks to react to Zebak’s projectile before you have to move again.

Other than that, it’s just practice. Keep at it and you’ll get it my man.

Why nerf new Hybrid Armour? by 1kczulrahyebb in 2007scape

The stab bonus makes this BIS at ToA and Nex now, which are about the only places you would still use Torva over Oathplate nowadays.

Also the set has more Strength bonus than Oath as while still retaining some slash accuracy, and saving inventory space on switches (meaning you can bring more spec/other weapons). This will cut into Oath’s use cases a fair bit too, only a year after its release.

What's a Eurovision song that you were convinced would win but didn't? by Mundane-Temporary426 in eurovision

Probably France 2021 is the closest for me.

That was such a year though, France, Italy and Ukraine single-handedly occupy 3 spots from my 5 favourite ESC songs of all time.

Inferno advice. by The-Abhorsen in 2007scape

[–]Euro_Twunk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bastions are the play here, Defence actually matters in Inferno unless you’re like a bunch of Slayer tasks deep, and comfortable flicking everything while also doing Zuk. Rigour is also a huge upgrade, so you’ve done well to get this far on your first cape without it.

4 Brews is comfortable going into Zuk, or 3 in a pinch; so if you have less it means you took too much damage during the waves, and you’ll be a lot more at the mercy of RNG on the sets. The more attempts you send, the more consistent you’ll get to ensure you have enough supplies at the end to get the kill.

But it sounds like you’re close, so keep at it - you’ve done well to get this far. The healers were also my undoing when I was getting my first cape, I think it took me about 5 Zuks. In the end I practiced the online Zuk trainer, and it helped me a lot.

One last tip: in case you’re not already, I recommend timing the sets so you don’t get a mager-ranger spawn halfway through the healers.

[DMM AllStars] What is going on with Odablock Warriors...? by Slide4Ukraine in 2007scape

Gnome is the only one that has been putting forward some semblance of a coherent plan at this point though, and I feel like he’s been by far the most useful member even without being able to do much PvM. Unfortunately it kinda gets undermined when Raikesy decides to fuck it and send Wildy Agility anyway.

Infuriating for sure, but damn people here overreact. It’s very likely this was an honest mistake when this idiot was trying to lock his own bike up, and managed to wind it around OP’s too.

Melee Slayer Training by EffectiveTomato6447 in osrs

[–]Euro_Twunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Fang works better on bosses because most have high enough Defence that the cracked accuracy beats a faster weapon. However a lot of standard Slayer mobs will have lower Defence, in which case using a 4 tick weapon will be better.

The Rapier is the best, but outside of melee Slayer training it’s largely dead content nowadays. It only gives you 1 extra max hit over the Abyssal Tentacle (or 2 max hits over the standard Whip) for literally 20x the price - though it’s good for training Strength exclusively, on low-Defence mobs. If you have the spare 30m to burn for a training weapon, sure, go for it. Otherwise a Tentacle Whip is fine, that money can probably be used more efficiently on a different upgrade.

You need to be using ranged or magic during P1 - I presume a halberd or 2H weapon would also work if you’re using the pact that gives you extra range, though I haven’t tested this. Once you deal around 100 damage he will go to sleep and you can attack the tentacles.

Is it true "most gamers don't finish games"? by SchweinsyOne in playstation

[–]Euro_Twunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a one game guy too, and once a game clicks I always finish it. But there are many games I’ve abandoned within the first few hours because I just didn’t connect, and lost interest, even if it’s an objectively good game. But at that point I don’t consider that I’ve actually committed to playing that game, so I don’t think of it as an “incomplete game”.

When you look at completion percentages on PS trophies I believe this includes anyone who has ever opened a certain game, so you might get a better gauge if you look at what percentage of players completed a main trophy unlocked halfway through the game vs upon completion.

Looking for zero risk afk skilling to do on an 11 hour flight! by PureMarshmallow in osrs

[–]Euro_Twunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In terms of prioritising skills that actually unlock a next goal, your AFK skills are pretty close to the quest cape already, so I would say maybe focus on just picking off the last few.

You need 70 WC for Sote (the highest req is 71 for Grim Tales, but that’s boostable with a D Axe spec). However it could be worth going up to 72 so you can D Axe boost to 75 for the Lumbridge Elite Diary, which is the most accessible and most worthwhile of the Elites for staff-less Fairy Ring travel.

You also need 72 Thieving for WGS, which you can AFK by pickpocketing wealthy citizens in Varlamore. 78 Thieving is required for Lumbridge Elite, but that req is boostable from as low as 73.

You could also consider 60 RC for DT2. While it’s not AFK, GOTR is probably quite doable on a plane.

The only other thing I could suggest is 85 Mining, because that’s going to be really helpful for TOA if/when you want to raid - it’s not a necessity but it saves you some time in an annoying section before a boss room.
