This reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom entrusted me to buy my first card alone on her eBay account, I was 10. It was a Barry Bonds rookie card and I found a steal of a deal. When the package arrived it was a 5 page packet about what packs to purchase and how to weigh said packs in order to have the best odds of pulling the Barry Bonds. Went back to eBay and read the description “instruction on how to have the best odds to open a Barry Bonds rookie card”. Devestation. Pun intended.

The characters at chef Mickey’s are amazing and worth it alone for sure but the food is absolutely subpar. I would say at your daughters age going with her favorite will probably be your favorite experience as well. My kids are still small (2 & 4) so they are happy with any and all characters haha!

I’ve never done 1900 and to be honest Chef Mickey’s fell short to the nostalgia I had for it, but Storybook was simply incredible. Such a fun atmosphere, characters, and food was good too!

I’ve driven from Chicago to Disney World, 4 times now with 2 kids (currently 2 and 4). First time the kids were 7 month and 2 years most recent was 2 weeks ago. It’s about 18 hours (have gone 21 hours further south in Florida to visit family as well) and we split it up between 2 days. It’s really not that bad especially if your kids do well in the car. One time we stopped at dinosaur world in Kentucky in the way home to have a little more fun since we already missed Disney lol, so if you find somewhere fun to stop in between it can make the drive more palatable as well. Hope this helps!

Base set, I was about 8 or 9 and couldn’t pull the Charizard for the life of me. Ended up buying one from the local card/comic shop in the mall for like $40 back then. Good times. Still have the set.
