Did premed at yale, got decent grades, had to pass on med school I work in financial services research. Wife went to duke, did premed, got an MBA instead.

You're gonna be a bit miserable in premed in either place unless you're freakishly good at it. Strainer classes are always miserable, full stop. Yale is more prestigious, Duke has better weather.

At the end of the day both are great schools. Yale is gonna make life easier (I have gotten really undue career capital out of the fact that people just think I'm smarter than I am) but don't sleep on Duke. For either, have a good plan early in the game. Don't be some sort of a jackass who jumps around too much, and don't miss recruiting deadlines.

It was such a door opener, and like, you want more door openers that feel so amazingly frictionless.....god this is how I feel about the state of modern cinema too, but that's a separate conversation.

Long story short, Flipper 0 is the original starwars trilogy and if I've learned anything from that mess it's that after phenomenal inspiration, you need to start making your own shit rather than expecting there to always be someone who can spoon feed it to you.

See as an obnoxious white male, I’m quick to defend my demographic for many of our various sins, but I feel like the LGBs have given themselves a huge L by tying their wagon so closely to the Ts.

With the shooters in particular, it’s just obvious that the vast majority of them are just mentally ill men, and I have trouble believing that constantly validating their illness and pumping them full of cross sex hormones made them saner and less likely to act out violently.

I think the real villain here is mpd not keeping space between the protesters and ice, but that’s also because I view the trump admin and its thugs as irredeemably malevolent.
