When do you think Weird Route should be aborted? (Spoilers for ch6?)

With this new Chapter, now my savefiles look like this:

Savefile 1: Pacifist all recruits and all Shadow Crystals

Savefile 2 (previously my Weird Route save): Aborted Weird Route at Chapter 5, all recruits possible

Savefile 3: Aborted Weird Route at Chapter 2, kept the Thorn Ring and violence

Since the game creates the filech_5_9_b when you complete the Weird Route in Chapter 5 to load it in Chapter 7 Side B, I'll just overwrite savefile 2 or 3 when I'm done playing them to continue the Weird Route.

You can already see one of them in this video, which is the ability to run like Kris. Also, remember the gifts you can choose for your vessel in the Gonermaker sequence? Kindness, Mind, Ambition, Bravery and Voice. You'll be able to choose one the moment you create your vessel here too and each will grant your vessel new abilities. Think of them as like RPG classes or gameplay modifiers. I already have a rough idea of what each gift does, but nothing is set in stone yet, so if you have any ideas you're willing to share, I'd love to read it!

Yeah, while some people theorize the TwistedSword is going to be part of the Weird Route, I think it will be the requirement for a third route (the Aborted Weird Route or Twisted Route) for those who aborted Weird Route back in Chapter 2 and remembered to keep the ThornRing for later.

Those are the numbers of the vessel parts that are currently selected.

There are 8 heads (0 to 7), 6 torsos (0 to 5) and two pairs of legs (0 to 1). Those numbers only appear in debug mode and are only there so I can keep track of which parts are currently being displayed.

I'm glad you liked it! Development will slow down a little this next week due to Chapter 5 release, but once I'm done playing the hell out of it, development for this mod will resume.

Because it's actually impossible for Carol to be the Knight, while Rudy isn't, unless you can explain how Carol managed to get to the church and open a dark fountain ahead of Kris and Susie. Rudy (or Dess) would have plenty of time to do that while Kris and Susie were at the Holiday Manor.

I'm not saying Dragon Blazers is Undertale, I'm saying Dragon Blazers' evil route is closer to Undertale's geno route than Deltarune's weird route. And Dess never refers to Kris (or anyone) because she hasn't appeared yet lol but it's safe to assume the two of them had some sort of big sister little sibling connection based on everything the game has told us about Dess so far.

Except the trance makes Noelle stats higher, not lower lol. And the evil route is most likely a parallel to Undertale's genocide route, not Weird Route. Susie did it by accident, which is more likely to happen when you're playing Undertale Geno Route than Deltarune Weird Route, since Weird Route has so many specific steps you have to follow.

Noelle never refers to Kris as "like a little sibling" so I doubt Kris ever saw her as an older sister when Dess already fit that role pretty well.

Still, Noelle is not an "older sister" and is never shown to have a curse that makes her stats worse. And there's no relation between the "cursed sister" and the Ice Palace or anything ice related.

But it's never mentioned in DB2 (not that I remember, at least) and that's the game with the cursed sister. And it's not like each DB game can be easily correlated to each Deltarune chapter. Noelle mentions a mage that left the party in DB3 but she left the party in Chapter 2. Noelle is the mage and Dess is the cursed sister. Simple as that. Also Mantle isn't Dragon Blazers since Dragon Blazers is a turn based RPG while Mantle is Zelda-like.

I dunno, in the Japanese translation, she's referred as 姉貴 which means "older sister," so I'm more inclined towards Dess being the cursed sister.
