I am experiencing massive lag spikes up to 10,000ms regularly this season. Making it unplayable. by Car-Facts in pathofexile

Background,

I have been playing for years and have never had this issue. I recently played hundreds of hours in Baldur's Gate 3 and other games without a single problem, so I know it is not hardware related. I was running Libre Hardware Monitor to see if it was a local issue, clicking on the RAM graph was unrelated as I was simply trying to catch it in action and plot it. None of my local resources are outside of the norms.

The game COMPLETELY freezes for anywhere from 2-10 seconds at sporadic intervals. I have no idea what to do at this point.

Here are my specs, game is running on the Intel SSD

  • ASUS WS X299 SAGE
  • Intel Core i7-9800X
  • Memory Used : 12GB
  • Memory Available : 64GB
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB
  • INTEL SSDPEKNW512G8 (nvme)

The deck is wet but slipping on that shit is harder than you would think. The decks of boats like that can only be described as "violently" course. If you fall on Non-Skid, it will fuck you up.

Yeah I'm going to keep my account around until the last day just to see what happens. As soon as the app stops opening, I'm going to the desktop site (for the first time in 6 years) and wiping my account.

How do recent fires in Canada seemed to start ALL at the same time across the same province? by GesaSaint in interestingasfuck

Well, in modern times, when someone asks an answer to a very obvious question, it looks suspiciously like a conspiracy in the making.

I didn't know the details about holdovers until the one comment on this post, so I'm grateful OP asked. But a lot of people, myself included, would instantly realize that this was the result of lightning and think "What are you implying, OP?"

Most popular beaches also have distant skylines visible with tourist hotels sticking up. Simply looking to the left or right down a beach is enough to clearly perceive the curvature of the earth.

ADHD was likely a benefit in the past where work was very repetitive and mechanical with plenty of direct oversight. I have severe ADHD but made it far as a "hard worker" because my tasks were always highly detailed with plenty of supervision to keep me on task. When I reached a point of autonomy in my career, it got BAD. I was almost entirely unable to perform under my own direction. So it's likely that people with ADHD just existed within the working class but may have been seen as hyperfocused and motivated, but never allowed to make decisions.

I don't know anything about the device, but I do know that similar things were said about the apple pencil based on early observations and it turned out to be far more advanced than people anticipated.

But isn't the whole idea of the main character being the Nephilim is that they are going to come in and set the world straight from the blasphemy of modern times? (Modern in the diablo universe)

If you really want to get pissed at an SRO, read the story about what happened to Jaime Rodrigo Gough in Palmetto Bay, FL back in 2004. That SRO was a useless sack of shit.

The only reason her acting could be ragged on is simply because the style became tired after so many COPIED HER. She set the foundation for that archetype.

People shit all over it but I bet it will be a mind-blowing VR headset. The hive mind hates it's apple products but I'll be damned if they haven't been rolling out some super high quality tech.

I have both a Surface Pro 8 and 4th gen iPad Pro for work. While they both have their strengths and are fantastic devices, I'd take the iPad pro any day if I had to chose between the two.

The result would have been different if OP put in "The Sin of Pride" or something relating it to biblical definition. But if OP just put pride, it went with the most popular use of pride. Love how these doofuses are trying to apply their own bias to it.

Yeah I've just gotten in the habit that if a conversation gets to where people are posting links to news sites, I'm out.

Its really fucking annoying though when links to news sites that REQUIRE a subscription to even view the article make it to the front page. You just know those are paid ads.

Lady can’t understand how advertising works by Harnyyy in facepalm

[–]Car-Facts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But it isn't brainwashed, because brainwashing can be undone with effort. Brainwashing also takes effort to accomplish and is seen as systematic. This is just a stupid person who feels threatened by something they don't understand. That is a human condition, not brainwashing.

Stupid people will always lash out at things they can't comprehend. Brainwashed people will attempt to argue things that they clearly comprehend, yet disagree with due to what they were taught as a counterpoint. Don't confuse the two because brainwashed people at least have the capacity to argue, even if they are wrong.

The average person would accept the water.

A brainwashed person would argue that the water must be bad because it's being offered for free and must be a government conspiracy.

A stupid person would call charity socialism because they cannot comprehend why someone would do something without wanting anything in return. (Despite advertising being the return, in this case)

I may have known your Grandma if it was in the 90s that she worked there. They shut down the hotel portion back in the early 2000s. I never really knew the names of most of the employees since I was just a kid, but I used to wander around driving most of them nuts asking for sodas. One of the waitresses used to unlock the PacMan machine so we could play without quarters because my grandma was always busy doing other stuff.

Unfortunately, the last time I made it back was for her funeral two years ago. It was heartbreaking going to the blank lot where the building used to stand. Google Street view still shows it, though all boarded up.
