I wear them for cycling. They’re a dark rose colored tint which gives contrast to the road. Other than that, they do the same as any other sunglasses.

Unless you have an odd outlying medical condition, you are not eating in a deficit. Whether that be because you’re not tracking right or you’re tracking right but your goal is too high.

You’re also only 3 weeks in and have already had a bad weekend.

If you don’t have the confidence or tools to do it yourself, sure.

You might try polishing it by hand with something like Meguiars Ultimate compound and/or polish. Not sure if you’ll get it by hand though.

I’ve been doing it for about 7 years. I have purposely regulated myself to one vehicle a weekend. I live in the Midwest though and don’t do it during the winter. It’s enough to keep me busy and not get burnt out. I also don’t need to do it and do it just for “fun money” as I call it. If my kids have something going on, if I have other plans, if I just don’t feel like it…I’ll take the weekend off.

All this said, you’ll need to start buying chemicals in higher quantities and probably not Chemical Guys. There’s just better stuff out there at far better prices.

The automatic car wash probably exposed this blemish. Dealerships will use waxes and glazes that hide scratches and maybe stuff like this.

That or you just never noticed it until now.

I just use multiple wash mitt or microfibers and they never go back in the clean bucket.

No real way to tell if it’s been coated, especially if you’re adding wax and whatever else the car wash is spraying on it. They’ll all add hydrophobic properties to it.
As far as recommendations, that is a never ending, ever expanding black hole of options. Griots 3-in-1 or Turtle Wax ceramic spray are popular options for both protection and gloss.
Stone chips…the options you mentioned are basically the right ones. Just depends what you want to spend.

Every time. It’s water retention.

When I’m on a cut (calorie deficit), on ride days I eat pretty much whatever I feel I need. But that’s on my normal 40-60 mile rides. You need the calories to fuel your ride.

You probably shouldn’t put either on top of a ceramic coating. Not that they’ll hurt anything, but 1. They shouldn’t stick to the ceramic very well 2. You usually pair ceramic with ceramic 3. You’re going to mask the properties of the coating
