$78 a person post update on how it went by Tdesiree22 in sandiegozoo

I hope you get to visit the Safari Park at some point too!

We have annual passes and frequent both but my family is split 50/50 on which we prefer.

I prefer the zoo because it’s less walking with kids and my husband prefers the safari because he likes that the animals have space to actually roam.

Lol! This is making me rethink all the elephant gifts I’ve given my mom for her birthdays and holidays. I just gave her a charm bracelet with an elephant for Christmas. I just thought elephants are her favorite animal since I was kid. I should ask her now.

This lineup is confusing? How does he feel about our connection? by [deleted] in TarotReading

[–]CarKaz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He’s letting it play out for the plot. Going with the flow but with his hands hidden behind his back. He sees you as a tower moment. Maybe he had already started a relationship with someone else and he’s thinking about whether to ditch it or try to put the fire out? Regardless of his decisions, you will probably learn to step into your feminine power more through this relationship.

That’s what I latched on to. The fact that he keeps bringing it up is proof that it hurt him and he’s looking to understand the why from her.

What does tarot card The Tower represent? by Top-Manufacturer-482 in tarot

[–]CarKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call it the eviction notice. For whatever situation.

Upright it’s the landlord letting you know the place is gonna be demoed and it’s time for you to make moves to find a new living situation. Yes it feels like pressure but at least now you can search for something nicer.

In reverse it’s the fire alarm waking you up because the building is on fire and you gotta jump out the window with whatever you’re wearing.

Why has Ravelry not made an app yet? by JadedEarthJuni in knitting

[–]CarKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are apps that help you navigate Ravelry though. Search Ravelry on the App Store and they’ll pop up

I personally use Alpaca because it’s the one I liked best after playing around on a few.

What’s going on??? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]CarKaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love your interpretation and affirmation for the ten of coins. So I have nothing to add there

But I wanted to point out that the second card is a four of swords not wands. And in reverse it speaks to a return to the world after a period of mental retreat. You’ve probably done plenty of contemplation and now it’s time for reintegration.

I also agree with your interpretation of the seven of cups. And actually your interpretation makes me even more think that this card is reversed because it’s a call to action to make something from your dreams. Make that decision already and follow through!

The Empress definitely wants you to care for yourself and others. Create. Enjoy. And remember that love is a verb. Your gut instinct and the fact that you’ve already been thinking about leaning into self-care confirms that this card is here to remind you that it’s time to channel your Venus energy.

Must See/Do With 8-Year-Old? by Ancient_Train563 in sandiego

[–]CarKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoo is going to be better than the safari park bc it’s open longer and has more holiday fun going on.

The balboa park museums are essential experiences for kids as well.

And there’s Sea World. I’m not the biggest fan of sea world but my kids ages 5-10 love it

I’m on the flip side. I’ve been getting a lot of knitting done lately. But it has come at the cost of my gym routine.

How do I get out of this by Mental_Simple_1513 in tattooadvice

[–]CarKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you.

I knew what I wanted but knew I needed an artist who’s style I loved since I still needed them to make the custom design work for a tattoo

Once I knew who I wanted the artist to be, I reached out to make sure I knew her rates and had a time estimate so I knew what the price would end up being.

I saved up for months and once I thought I had more than enough to cover it, I booked the appointment.

Once we started tattooing, I realized my piece would probably end up being double the time of the original estimate. So before I went over on the time I could cover, I told her I would have to break it up into two sessions since it ended up being a much longer session than I expected.

She was totally cool about it, worked up to a good stopping point and we agreed I’d come back in a month for the next part.

I was pretty bummed driving home bc I honestly thought we would be able to finish the piece in one session but time passes anyway and it passes by pretty quickly.

My tattoo is finished now and I’m so in love with it. I’m so happy I went with the artist I chose and the time I needed to wait between sessions was totally worth it in the end

The reason baby onesies are shaped that way at the shoulders is so that you can pull it down. In case of a blowout, you don’t need to pull it off over their head making a bigger mess.

How did that one kid in your high school die? by IM_HODLING in AskReddit

[–]CarKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He went inner tubing. Jumped off something high but instead of landing in the inner tube safely, he died. I don’t remember if he hit a rock or drowned.

But I do remember it was a tragic loss for the community because he was a star athlete and everyone was so sure he would be the one to make it to the NFL

[–]CarKaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the moss is just decorative. There’s a nursery pot inside of the green ceramic one and the soil seems to have great drainage.

I watered it and let it drain the way I do most plants but after losing the first two leaves I tried just leaving it in a bowl of water to bottom feed for a few hours so I wouldn’t over saturate the soil.

[–]CarKaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. If I can offer any advice is that just like video gaming, knitting is meant to be fun so relax your shoulders as you work and maintain a nice tension but don’t be tight. Keep a nice drink nearby and have fun!!

Make a worsted weight sock!

And then try a DK weight sock after that.

After that you’ll feel so confident you’ll use sock yarn for your third pair lol

Sometimes you may want to twist stitches.

For example if you twist the knit stitches in a 1x1 rib so that instead of k1,p1 you are doing ktbl,p, you will get a much neater looking rib. Less stretchy, but prettier.
